uterine atony + next pregnancy

I had an emergency c-section last September and just received my surgical report. The one thing that alarmed me is that they noticed uterine atony- for those who don't know (I didn't till I looked it up!) it's a weak uterus that won't contract. I never passed 6cm on pitocin, and I never felt stomach contractions- just back labor. My question is will my uterus be too weak to handle another pregnancy? And do you think anyone would consider me a candidate for a VBAC? I love my son very much, but somehow still feel cheated by having to have a c-section.
