Hi, I'm due for af on 11-9.Been having cramping like af is coming for 2 1/2 weeks, eveyone I spoke to said this could be a sign of pregnancy! I will pray for you guys that af does not show up. here's baby dust to all of us***

Is AF supposed to come Dec 9 for you? How long have you been trying? Have you taken anything to help you conceive? Our friend Krist just found out she is expecting and another lady named Stevie (from the original post) is also expecting. Please keep us updated on your situation!

To Shawna, yes af is supposed to come 12-9, My dh and I have been ttc for a 1yr and 6months. Just had lap surgery on 9-20 for scar tissue on both tubes. Ovaries are great doc said. First time on clomid after surgery had to wait 6wks to heal. Took last clomid pill on 11-17.Doc gave 50 mgs to start off to see if it works. also I was taking Robitussin on top of the clomid just incase to keep cm thin.I was diagnosed with pcos about a year ago and I'm 23yrs old.I'm just praying that this is it for me. My girlfriend who also has pcos was trying w/clomid and metformin for 9 months just called me on tues the 22nd to annouce she is also pregnant. Congrats to Kristi and Stevie wish you a healthy pregnancy and baby. To everyone else will pray to keep af away for all of us. ***BABY DUST**

Hi ladies! Welcome Elena! Went to get blood drawn again this morn to see if my HCG levels have gone up....just keep praying they have, will not know the results till tomorrow! Hope everyone is doing well, and waiting to hear what Monica decided to do about starting her clomid! Later!

Hello, Kristi I have a question? I've been cramping like af is coming period is not do till 12-9. I ovualted on 11-25 do you think if I took a pregnancy test it would be to soon? I want to take one and I've been taking my temps everyday and they are rising. What should I do?

Elena, I would wait....you are only 4dpo so I do not think it would show up yet. Your temps should stay up until next AF comes, so until your temps stay up for at LEAST 18 dpo, you cannot tell by the temps if you are pg. I know it is hard to wait, I had 2 bfn before i got my bfp and my temps have also stayed up. I have read, and also think it best, to wait till you have actually missed AF to tests even though most hpt say they can detect pg up to 4-5 days dpo. Alot of women get pg and miscarry before they even have AF, so if you test too early and get a bfp and then end up with AF, you will be more upset than if you just try to hold out and wait till AF is a no show. But of course you have to do what you think is best for yourself ;-) As for the cramping, could be anything really for this early. But I definitely do NOT know everything, so just hang in there and do what you feel neccessary for your peace of mind... ;-) Are you keeping a bbt chart online?

Kristi, please let us know about your hcg results. I heard they are supposed to keep doubling. Is that correct? Kristi, please stop reading the rest of this post! Elena, I have never miscarried. We just know so many people who have this past year. We have a six year son named Alexander. I would wait to take a test, you're still a week and a half away from AF. I think Kristi had some cramping and spotting before she got her BFP. Everytime we start a new thread someone gets a BFP, so I hope someone gets another one right away and we can start another new thread and get another BFP! Monica, what have you decided?

Kristi, how far along are you? When do you go for an ultrasound? I came across this neat website that shows you pictures of the fetus each week. There is also a write up there about what is going on with your body and what baby is doing. It also includes Dad with a special writeup just for him. I go back to the dr on friday to get some tests done and hopefully get started on some fertility boosts!!

Shawna, my last AF was Oct 23 so I think around 3-4 weeks??? Just depends on who you ask I guess... ;-) Dr keeps saying maybe I am not as far along as I think since my HCG levels were low, so who knows. I do not have my first appt made yet since we are waiting to see what the blood test brings tomorrow and then will make appt. That website was cool, I took a look at it after I read the post. Thanks!

No worries Elena! We'll do the wait with you! Kristi, I'm so excited and happy for you!!!! Have you started a journal yet? Another word of advice: get a big tub of Vitamin E cream. As soon as I started showing with Alexander I rubbed it on shoulders to toes a few times a day and now I don't have any stretch marks. I went from 118lbs to 165lbs, so I'm pretty proud of myself and I think the cream really works. Plus it feels really good when your skin starts streching across your belly. Include Dave, by having him rub you down. He'll have to do it towards the end anyways because you won't be able to see past your belly!!! I hope you don't mind my words of advice. If they become boring let me know. You'll want to do your own routine as well.

Shawna, your words of advice are always welcome!! Considering I have never done any of this before, any help I get is greatly appreciated! I am planning to keep a journal, have not started it yet, just kinda waiting to do anything till I get the hcg levels back tomorrow. I wonder how Monica is doing?

Kristi – you hit the nail on the head hun, you know that this site / TTC in general will make you paranoid about things that “normal” people who hadn’t ever thought twice about the variables that go into procreation would never do… ha, you need to relax mama – your on your way to being a mommy! I’m so glad Shawna is here to be the “mother hen” if you will – (hope that okay by you Shawna!- ha), I just love the stories about Alexander! I love hearing how she cuts time short to check in with us & has to hurry back to bathing her son, making his dinner, taking care of his cold, tucking him in etc… It’s so refreshing & encouraging! My sister will be the first to say –with her 3 kids, that as much as they drive you nuts from time to time – just to watch them doing to most simple things like playing, swimming, watching t.v., taking a bath, sleeping, etc.. makes it all worth it…. Ah, I get all watered up just thinking about it! When I visit her & take her eldest (3) of her hands (haha, I know I’m a bad aunt – he is my favorite!) for a few hours / overnight – just to be with him – to teach him, give him an answer to all 50000 of his random what’s this hunny?! Questions – (yes, all the kids call me Hunny) –god it gives me such happiness just to watch him think & absorb information – to see how he just loves blindly & has no fear – to see the innocence & purity…. God, it just kills me…. Shawna – you know I am praying for you – I think of all the people who are TTC – Alexander deserves it the most & doesn’t even know it! A sibling is really a valuable gift in growing up & into the person you are… All the qualities of sharing, compromising, teaching & learning, protecting, scheming, creating & most of all – that sense of “real true love” were brought to me in the form of my brother & sister…. Without them I would not be the person I am today. The only people I can say that I would die for are those two. My flesh & blood…. The two people who know me better than anyone ever could – yes, Chris, my parents, my best girlfriends included… Siblings are truly important milestones in personal development & I pray for Alexander to experience that. Geez, I always post novels!! I’m moving on to another paragraph before I loose yall…..
