Hi all. Welcome back dea!! I'm glad you had a good time. Unfortunately you couldn't come back with BFP news, but I know it will happen soon. Cendy, how did the appointment go? I know it is nothing serious. It's just one of those things that happens to pregnant women. Laura, I live in California, southern CA actually, what part do you live in? That’s great that you got to see and hear the heartbeat, how exciting. How far along are you? Jessica, why do they give you a HCG shot? I thought they only did that with IUI and IVF. When do you expect to O? Congrats on the new job. Is it anything too demanding where they would make a big deal about a lot of dr. appts? As for me, I spotted again yesterday which really freaked me out, especially since I was feeling strange last week. My dr.'s office had already closed so I went to urgent care hoping they would give me a blood test, but to my surprise they gave me an ultrasound. I am too early in my pregnancy to see the embryo, but the doc said everything looked good and normal for how many weeks I am. I haven't had more spotting since last night. Today I am 5w3d and go in next Monday to do another ultrasound with my regular doc. Do you guys think they will be able to see anything then?

Laura - March 1

Ericka, I believe you will be able to see something. I saw my baby and the heartbeat at exactly 6 weeks. It is amazing how fast it will grow this week! You will be so excited! I tried to video tape my heartbeat yesterday and they wouldn't let me. She said I couldn't video HER. Strange but oh well. I got a picture of the baby. I live in Santa Rosa which is about an hour north of San Francisco. I will be in San Diego this coming week. My sister is having a mastectomy so I will be down there taking care of her family. They live in lovely El Cajon. JessicaG... my thoughts are with you! I know it will happen!

Hello all! I went to the doctor and they took blood and checked me out. I did not get to have an ultrasound, but she said that the baby is fine. I have double inner ear infections and my pregnancy hormones are aggrevating the situation making my vertigo so much worse than it would be not being pregnant. She put me on meds for the dizziness, and then called today to let me know she decided to go ahead with some antibiotics. I was wondering why she did not give me any yesterday. My test results were perfectly normal, so the sugar theory is out of the question. I am so happy about that. I go to the doc next week to have my ultrasound and see if I am doing better. I cannot wait. Ericka, I am glad they did an ultrasound and the baby is growing normally. I would think you will be able to see the fetal pole and maybe even the heartbeat next week. Did they check your progesterone levels again? I would want to know what those numbers are since they can drop in a blink of a eye. I will be praying for you. Laura, I am so glad you got to see the heartbeat. It is so amazing to see your baby and know that it is okay. 172 beats that is good. I wonder if it will be a girl since its rate is over 140? I wonder why that they would not let you take the ultrasound. Will they not let you for any of them or just this early one? That is not right you should be able to record your child. I would be highly upset about that. I am so sorry to hear about your sisters mastectomy. I hope everything goes okay for her. JessicaG, congrats on the new job. I would be scared about having so many doctors appointment so early on with a new job. Hopefully your employer will be understandable and you can schedule the apts on your lunch break. It will work out for you, I just know it. Well, ladies I have to go. Talk to you all later. BABY DUST!

dea - March 2

Good Morning! Well- today we should be getting the new SA back from the dr. I am hoping for better numbers. Regardless- we have our #2 IUI scheduled for next Friday. If this one doesn't work the dr. wants to go for the IVF (which my insurance doesn't cover at all). Plus- we can't switch coverage until the fall. But from what I hear, it can take 6 months for the initial appointment- so maybe that timing will be fine! It looks like everyone is doing well with their pregnancies...glad to hear it! CENDY- hope the vertigo thing is better for you, I'm sure that can be upsetting- like you don't have enough to think about already! ERICKA- hopefully the next u/s will show something. I imagine you are excited for any kind of "spot" to be on the screen!! LAURA- thought and prayers to your sister. JESSICAG- I know how you feel about the new boss thing. I had a change of "boss" in December. My previous boss knew about what was going on with me so she was very supportive and let me take whatever time I needed. This boss I haven't told yet- so I don't know what her reaction will be. I have a feeling I'm going to need to tell her this week because of the IUI next Friday. I have a scheduling conflict that cannot be avoided. I think she will understand. The thing about my last boss was that she went through years of infertility and eventually adopted- so she knew exactly how I felt. We'll see how this one is! Have a great day ladies! ~~DUST~~

Hi all! How is everyone this Friday morning? I am okay. I think my ear infections and vertigo are finally getting better. The antibiotics make me very sick though. Only a couple more days of takine it thank the Lord. I am getting anxeious about my ultrasound on Thursday and about Ericka's on Monday. I cannot wait to hear Ericka's good news about her little bean. Dea, I am praying that your numbers were better this time. I hate it that your insurance does not cover the IVF, but maybe you won't need it after this next IUI. I am praying for your success. Well, I have to get back to work. Talk to you all later. BABY DUST!

Hello all. The thread has been kinda quiet lately. I hope everyone is fine. Cendy, I'm glad you are feeling better even though the antibiotics are making you sick. Dea, how did the SA go? I hope the numbers were much better. Did they put your dh on any supplements to try to increase his numbers? I will be praying for you next Friday, hoping the IUI will go great. Laura, I'm so sorry about your sister. How is she taking it? I can't even imagine how she must be feeling. Well, I think m/s has finally caught up with me. It's not too bad, but I feel queasy for most of the day. I am excited for my u/s on Monday. I have to go to a conference that same day until Thursday, I hope that everything is fine so that I can still go. I'll be back just in time to read about Cendy's u/s. Have a wonderful Friday and a great weekend ladies.

CENDY & ERICKA (and anyone else interested!): SA came back about the same. Low count. 2-4% morphology. I feel terrible for DH. He has lost over 30 lbs, taking vitamins everyday, eating better, drinking minimal/less. It didn't change much. The dr. at the lab felt so bad for us that next Thursday he is going to wash a sperm sample- then combine that with two on Friday. AND--- he isn't going to charge for the one on Thursday night. There is some happy news. Last wash (with two samples) had a count of 3.5 million. We'll see what three gets us... Come on!! I only need ONE!!! One little sperm to meet my egg. I'm feeling the pressure now-- I did look into an insurance switch- I can switch in September and that coverage would be for 3 IVF's. It costs more per check- but it would be well worth it!! ERICKA: I'm sure your u/s will go great- do you have to go far for your conference? CENDY: Glad that your infections are clearing up. Your u/s will go great too! How many have you had?? What, if anything, do they look for now?? Is it just to check on appropriate formation and growth? I imagine that it's fun to see it and watch the different stages of your babies development. HEY EVERYONE!! For those ladies not pg-- who's in the TTW??? Enjoy the weekend~~DUST~~

bumping us up!

Cendy - March 5

Hi all! How is everyone? I am okay, but still feeling yuky on the antibiotics. Ericka, I am glad you are starting to feel the ms. I know you were looking for pregnancy signs and ms is a great one to gadge your pregnancy by. I will be thinking of you tomorrow at your us. I know you will be very surprised to see how much your little bean has grown. Dea I am so sorry your numbers were not what you were hoping for. I think it is wonderful that you are able to get the samples combined and you are not being charged for the extra one. That is good of the doctor to do that for you guys. I know you will have success. I just feel it. I will be praying for you. I have had one us so far and I will be having another one on Thursday because more than likely they will not be able to find the hearbeat with the doppler yet. If they can't they usually do another ultrasound just to make sure baby is doing well. I don't know how many us's I will end up having, but I think it will be more than usual since this pregnancy is high risk with my thyroid problems. Ericka have a good conference and post on Friday so we can hear all your good news. Well, I have to go. Does anyone want to start a new thread? This one is getting kind of quiet. BABY DUST!!!!
