trying to get pregnant after depot injection

i took the injection almost two years ago after the birth of my child. just the once.i had intermittent bleeding for six months and then no bleeding at all for a further six months. my periods are now very irregular. have been trying to get pregnant for the last couple of months with no luck. my first pregnancies i fell pregnant almost straight away. has the injection jeopardised my chances of getting pregnant again.
