Justj thought I would let you know that you are not alone. We are also ttc #2, and got pregnant right away with our first child. I also m/c in January at 7 weeks. So I know exactly how you feel. We even bought the clear blue easy fertility monitor to try to help us out and we have had no luck either. My problem is I have really long cycles, so I am talking with my doctor about possibly going on clomid to help regulate when I am ovulating. Have you talked with your doctor at all? It may be a good idea. Maybe she can help with some ideas.

I'm trying for my 4th and final and it's been a year. It took six months with my 1rst and 2nd, 1 year with my 3rd and now it's been 1 year with my 4th. I'm sure some of it has to do with my age. I was 21 when I got pregnant the first time, 28 the 2nd 35 the 3rd and now I'm 36 turning 37 in September. Just like my children they are all different so is my experiences in getting pregnant. Best of luck to everyone.

thanks for the advice I'll try to talk to my doctor about the clomid however I do have regular cycles. I'm glad I got to speak with you tammy, because you know how I feel, maybe I'm just impatient and stressed. I got my period yesturday so I'm kinda down but hearing your story made me feel less alone. Thank You!=)

You are welcome. It is nice to know that you are not the only one out there and that others are going through the same thing. I am cd 10 right now, and am getting so tired of ttc. I just want it to happen so bad. Hopefully your doc. can give you some suggestions. Clomid should help with your ovulation and stuff. Good luck to you!!

Hi Allison ... our stories sound very similar, and I also have very regular cycles. My daughter, who is 3 was not planned, but a wonderful surprise. We started TTC last July and finally got pg in Dec, like you. I was very upset when I miscarried in January, but became even more determined to have another child. I waited the 1 normal cycle that my doctor recommended and decided to do as much research as I could. I bought the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility, which was very enlightening, and most importantly, started taking my basal body temperature to determine when I ovulated ... I also quit smoking, because I was convinced that was why I had a miscarriage. I ended up getting pg the first cycle that I charted my BBT ... I found out that I even though I have a 28 day cycle, that I don't ovulate on day 14 ... I o'd on day 16, so I think that maybe my timing was a bit off. I am now 16 weeks pg and everything is going well ... if we decide to have another, I will definitely use BBT charting again. Good luck, I wish you tons of baby dust!!
