Starting gonadotrophins next month

I have been on Clomid for 10 months now. The first 6 months I ovulated fine but since then I haven't ovulated at all and my cycles have become shorter. My doctor is having me take a month off and then starting gonadotrophins. I don't know much about injectibles so if anyone has any experiences they would like to share I would love to hear them. Also, how much does it cost, what's involved as far as monitoring goes, any side affects, etc. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
