what is clomid please tell me

What is Clomid? I here alot of you talking about starting this. Does the doctor have to prescribe it? Is it expensive?Please help.

Hi everyone, I am on DPO day 11 and my temp started to drop in last two days. I guess it's the sign of upcoming AF.I had so many hopes with Clomid...well,I will try second month with Clomid and then I have to see my doc to see what will be the next step.
This time he wants me to take it on days 3-7 instead 5-9.

Hey y'all. Well I am just waiting for AF. I am pretty sure that this cycle was a bust! Gosia, I too had so many hopes! I guess this cycle just wasn't my time. I hope you are all doing well. Haven't heard from some of you gals in a while. Keep us posted!

i am waitting too .. 3days late and my period hasnt arrived yet.. two BFN was responsible for my disappointment..i never gor a longer than 29 cycle with clomid .. never!!!
hope that thi scycle is gonna be the one for all of us.

Hi, I am waiting for AF. My temps were all over chart last few days; once below the coverline, then high again and down today. I've been having lots of AF cramping but the witch is not here yet. I just want to get this cycle over and start the send try with clomid. Good luck to all of you!

Hey girls! I am in the same about as the two of you. I am just waiting for aunt flow. I haven't taken a pg test, but I am sure it will be negative. I took one earlier in the cycle 10 day past when I thought I ovulated, but then early last week I got an almost +opk. So now I am just waiting it out. I think I will test tomorrow to see. My boobs are hurting and I am peeing more, but I am also drinking more. Right now I am just trying to get over a terrible cold! Grrr.... I hope you both have Happy Thanksgivings if you either of you celebrate! Maybe this will be our month! Baby dust!

hey staci .. wish u luck , longing to hear from you tomorrow. i am 4 days late now and nothing yet , i am afraid to go for a blood test , at least i have got a little bit of hope to hang in with.

Hi everyone, I can sympathize with you all, I took clomid on and off for 6 years and finally got pregnant in october, my fertility specialist tried all the doses and they were not working, apparently they only normally go up to 150mg, but as we live 5 hours away from our specialist he said he wanted to try 200mg as it was easier than travelling for other procedures. Well after 6 years of trying, the 200mg worked, after only two months of taking 200mg!! Have faith, it worked for us so it could work for you too! I know it is nice to hear the success stories as well as comforting each other after the the trying........GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL!!
