I am also starting clomid in May possibly the end of April I go to the doctor tomorrow for and u/s and to get my prescription, I am alreadly to late to start it this month. We have been trying since 09/04 we got pregnant in 03/05 and had a miscarriage at 7 weeks and have been trying since then with no luck so we are hoping this will work for us.

sorry to hear about the miscarriage... let us know how everything went at the doctors... how many mg of clomid are you going to be taking ??

i hope so too... cmarie when did youhave the u/s done??? are you taking clomid now .. what are your plans as far as conceiving ?? sorry if im being noisy... my plans are to go to the doctor and get her to give me clomid and metformin again.. and probably provera to jump start my period .. because i have one.. but it is un predictable .. usually i start on the 3rd of the month but sometimes it doesnt happen until somewhere around the 3rd to the 10th... sooo .. i with provera ill be able to take that for 10days and get my period like im suppose to .. and also have a normal flow .. hear lately it has been like brown old stuff and not a normal flow.. (sorry if it is tmi) so anyways... also i plan on telling her that i want a u/s on cd 12.. what days did you take clomid?? in aug and sept i took it days 5-9 ... talk to u soon

sorry cmarie ... i wnet to the other forum and read what you wrote .. sorry if im asking the same question over and over again.. its hard to keep up with alot of these forums .. lol what days are you taking clomid though??

Amanda- you are fine! What else are we here for! I was given 50mg of clomid and started taking it days 3-7 on march13th. Now I am on day 26 and will start any day now... the old brown stuff too.. My doctor told me to call him once I start and he will put me on 100mg. So I am not sure if I will need to go back in before they let me start taking it again or not. My insurance did nto pay for "infertility treatments" so I had to pay $350 out of pocket for the pkg of 3 sonograms. So I am really hoping this month works. I am glad we will be somewhat close in days though... atleast we can talk each other through it.

Amanda- I forgot to ask... when do you go to the doctor this month?

cmarie - i got o the doctor next wensday on april 12th .. hey did ur doctor do the u/s at the doctors office or somewhere else?? so this round of clomid didnt work or dont know yet??? im soo excited .. i cant wait to see what cheri write... what is her website?? i live in florida what about u ??

Ok I went the doctor the ultrasound was fine and she gave me 50mg of clomid days 5-9 for 3 months and from day 14 on for 12 days I have to take prometrium twice a day. She said that even though I was on day cd7 when I seen her that I could start taking the clomid then so I started it last night. I am hoping that it will work since I am starting it so late this month but I am not sure that it will, what do you think? Even if it doesn't I am hoping that it will work the next month.

I wish u lots of luck K....what is prometrium ??? never heard of that ... that is what my doctor told me that clomid will work ever if you are having a light period ..i dont think that u will have any problems.. **K and cmarie how are you detecting ovulation ??? lots of baby dust

Prometrium is a natural progestrone for the second half of my cycle to keep a possible pregnancy if it happens. I have used everything from ovulation tests to the ov watch a new thing that is suppose to work I thought that it was but then my cycle started getting messed up and I don't think it was I have also been taking my basal body temperature, so I have put up the watch and I am using the ovulation test again Clear Blue Easy kind.

hey K ... is it the clear blue easy sticks or the monitor with the sticks?? thanks

Amanda- I dont this cycle worked for me no, but I also havent started yet so cant say for sure. But I dont feel pregnant at all. But I am hoping that this next one will. they did my ultrasound there in the office.

I got the sticks instead of buying the monitor I decided not to spend a lot of money on the monitor because I am hoping it will happen soon. Trying to be optimistic.

ok cmarie... well ill keep my fingers crossed for you. and K .. i dont blame you for not buying the monitor... they are very expesive.. but i believe im going to have to buy one probably... hey cmarie... i have a question.... if they do the u/s on cd12 .. do you think that i should do the opk's too???? did u do the opk's even though u had the u/s done??? or not??

Katherine-how do the sticks work for you? Amanda- I did try the opk's also even though I got the sonogram on cd12. But my problem was I started testing on cd10 and it was 2 strong lines,again cd11 two strong lines, 12 same.. which is the day I went to the doc and he said I have 23mm about to ovulate.. So am I reading these all wrong? I thought you were supoosed to have a fainter line and 2 strong lines when you are o. I was going to try them again this month.. cant hurt right?!
