Hello ladies, I started seeing a fertility specialist back in Sept, I recently finished my third round of clomid...another unsuccessful one. The first one, I did not ovulate, that was 50mg cd 5-9, then second round 150mg cd3-7, i ovulated very well, but no bfp....third round 150mg cd 2-6, no bfp...i think we timed intercourse wrong because my dr did not tell me to use opks, and i decided to use them anyway to help determine ovulation but by cd17 i was losing hope, apparantly i ovulate very late in my cycle. that is why i'm going to the specialist tomorrow to ask him if this next round we can do ultrasounds to check the size of my follies, and do a trigger shot so i'll know when i ovulate, and then if one round with this does not work if we could try IUI with clomid and trigger shot....i was wondering if there is any other options or questions I haven't thought of to talk with the specialist about? and also if there are any success stories with trigger shot and clomid that would be great as well :-) thanks in advance ladies! ***babydust***

YOU COULD TRY CLOMID WITH INJECTABLES THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO PRODUCE MULTIPLE OF FOLLICLES AND THEY MONITER U BY US AND BW AND GIVE UR A TRIGGER SHOT WHEN U HAVE MATURE FOLLICLES AND THEN THEY INSTRAUCT U TO HAVE SEX OR IUI. CLOMID DIDNT HELP ME AT ALL, AND I WENT ON THE SHOTS WITH CLOMID AND HAD AMAZING RESULTS JUST TOO AMAZING AND WASNT ABLE TO TRY B/C I HAD TO MANY FOLLICLES WHICH WOULD HAVE GIVEN ME MULTIPLES ON TOP OF MULTIPLE BABIES, AND UNHEALTHY FOR ME. I WAS OVULAITNG VERY LATE LIKE CD 23 24 IF AT ALL, SO YOU 'LL NEED MORE OF A BOOST THAN CLOMID LET US KNOW WHAT U DECIDE WITH THE DR.

thanks tanner....have you gotten pregnant yet? I just hope my dr agrees to do more than just the clomid, i really feel the clomid by itself is not working
