OK, I'm on CD 11, took 50 mg Clomid on days 5-9, planning BD every other day starting tomorow.... when / how much Robatussin should I take to keep Cervical Mucus up? I've been taking just one dose each evening, but I want to make sure I'm not over/under medicating. Doc wasn't much help with this one... Thanks! ( any one else out there on a similar schedule/timeline?

Hi I take 200mg three times a day. If the CM still appears thick and doesn't have good spinnbarkeit (ability to stretch), one can take as much as four teaspoons (400 mg) four times per day (the maximum dose on this over the counter medication). Each dose should be taken with a full glass of water, and attention should be given to drinking plenty of fluids throughout the day -- one needs water to produce mucus. Hope this helps.
