question about haveing sex and iui

hi everyone i was just wondering how long before iui shouldnt have sex ? we thought we would have iui last friday so we had sex last monday , but i m goin to ovulat late so i have iui tomorrow, and we didnt have sex for last 9 day is sperm too old? im so worry !!! should we have it tonight ? this TTC is making me nuts!

You should have sex 2-3 days before IUI. Nine days may be too long but the sperm will be washed so only the good ones will be left. GL
