I dont quite understand how you can tell when you are ovulating based on the cervical mucus. I know it is supposed to look like egg whites, but isn't there more than just 1 day/month when your body excretes cm??? Info from anyone who understands this method would be greatful.

Check out fertilityfriend.com and find the fertilityfriend handbook. There is some info about cm. From what I have read you start off after AF with no cm, then it gets creamy or watery and then finally when you O it is like egg whites and you can stretch it between your fingers without it breaking. Then after O it becomes dry again. My cm changes all the time and doesn't really follow a pattern which I think is a sign that I am not ovulating. Hope this helps. Good luck!
