Hi ladies I am new to this board. I have suffered 2 miscarriages since 12/05. Last week my RE told me my FSH levle is 17.6 which means I am perimenapausal. I feel so devasted all I ever wanted to be was a mother. I have to go tomorrow for a Hysterosalpinogram. Has anyone had this? I am so scared. We will ttc again but my doctor told me I have 50/50 chance of having a baby and that baby may have chrom. abnormalities. It helps to know why I miscarried but this devastates me. I am only 35. I can't wrap my brain around this. Please help me.

Karen, was your mother in menopause early?? Is this an RE that told you all this? I am not experienced with IVF yet, but have heard they could try and flush your eggs and then do PGD to detect chromosome abmormalities. Please get a second opinion. Laurie

THank you, my mother had me at 39. She entered menapause in her 50's. My doctor said worse case scenario we could use the egg donor progam. I do plan on getting a second opinon. What does PGD stand for?
