Can they detect PCOS by blood tests alone? I also have crazy long,irregular cycles,some discomfort etc etc. I had blood tests done on Tuesday and everything came back normal but I suspect that PCOS could be a problem...

yeah they can detect pcos by blood tests b/c i have iregualr periods , i go for 3 or 4 months with no period and so i went to the doc and my mother and sister both have pcos so tthey decided to test me and they made me go for a 2 hour glucose blood test in addition to hormone blood tests, where they check your different levels of hormones and from that they can tell if you have pcos, and i got the results back the other day and i do have pcos!!! good luck
