Oh no, I'm sorry AF showed up Sara - it's very frustrating and disappointing, isn't it. I get so mad when she shows her ugly head each month. Get ready with those test strips though because testing time in the next cycle will be here before you know it! Mindi - don't get too disheartened yet as you know although we cant' resist testing early, you're more likely to show a BFP after AF is due to arrive. So there's hope yet... Good luck!

Alycia - didn't see your post there, we must have been writing at the same time. Just wanted to ask how you're feeling (you must be so excited) and if you did anything different to get your BFP from the other months ttc.

Hi Justine! I'm feeling pretty darn good, actually. I don't have a whole lot of symptoms, or at least not unpleasant ones. I am mildly crampy all the time, my breasts are heavy and sore, and I'm hungry constantly. Other than that, I have this weird sense of well-being, which is unusual for me - I'm usually a worrywart. As for what we did, dh and I bd every day (as I mentioned) and I always put a pillow under my rear immediately afterward and lay there for about twenty minutes. I also drank a lot of filtered water (Brita pitcher), cut out alcohol, and started eating as though I were pregnant - a ton of whole grains and fresh fruits and veggies (raw broccoli, cauliflower, baby carrots, etc. every single day). I also quit taking all medication, OTC or not. I have no idea if this is why we conceived so quickly (first ovulation after going off BC), but it couldn't have hurt. Good luck! There's lots of baby dust coming your way!

Alycia - thanks for the info it really helps to know what everyone else is doing. Did you have a sense that you might be pregnant before you tested or was it a complete surprise for you? I hope you keep popping over to check in with us and let us know how you're getting along and hopefully we'll be all joining your BFP club soon...

Well ladies, maybe luck will be with us in the months to come. I am probably the worst person when it comes to the waiting game....especially if I really want it. I have always been that way. I guess I never really thought of how I would be when I was ready to have a baby. It won't be so bad when AF shows up, I guess, because that will be my first "normal" cycle after bc pills. So it will be like a fresh start. Thanks for all the comments. Baby dust to all.....

I started to think I might be pregnant when I had cramping at 6-7 dpo because that never happens to me. Part of me was just sure I was pregnant, but another part was equally sure I wasn't. I usually woke up every morning thinking I was pregnant, but by the end of the day my lack of traditional symptoms made me despair. It was quite a rollercoaster, and reading the loads and loads of early symptoms a lot of people on the messageboards report did not help at all! I wasn't at all tired or sick, and my breasts didn't hurt the teeniest, tiniest bit. I did have a very distinct feeling in my abdomen after the cramps went away, but you rarely hear about that as a symptom. Another woman on the other thread had the same tenderness in her abdomen when she coughed or moved too abruptly and turned out pregnant, so I think that's probably a pretty good indicator for some people. It's also so distinct that when you have it there's no way to think you're imagining it - it's way too concrete, just like the cramps were. It's too easy to imagine nausea and dizziness, for example. I wish you all the best!

How long after your AF did you get your BFP? Also, how far along are you? I hope everything turns out great for you and your dh.

How long after your "missed" Af did you get your BFP? Sorry, forgot the missed part.

Actually, I couldn't wait to test until I missed af, so I got my positive at 11 dpo. It was actually three days before af was due.

Mindi - don't give up yet. Lots of women don't get their BFP until a few days after their AF was due. So there is still a chance yet - are you having any symptoms of being pregnant?

Justine- well, I was sick about a week ago. Sometimes I wonder if this whole pregnancy thing could be in my head. Today I woke up and my lower stomach is so crampy. So, either that is signs that AF is making her way or I am pregnant. I guess we shall see in the few days ahead. Thank you for being so positive. It's really great to have that support. Dawn- I bought the clearblue easy fertility monitor over the weekend from the internet. If I am not pregnant this month, I am hoping it will be beneficial to me. Let me know how you get along using the strips. Good luck!

Welcome Dawn. Did you get married just 2 weeks ago? Congratulations! I've been married just over 2 months so it's all still pretty new to met too! Good luck with the ovulations strips this month. Mindi - I've been having on/off cramping for the last couple of days but I'm only 6 dpo so I'm sending myself crazy wondering if it's the beginning of implantation or just another imaginary symptom! Hi to everyone else.

Justine- first off, congrats on you being a newlywed, and you too Dawn. I will be married 1 yr. in Oct. I can totally relate to the symptoms thing. I am having really bad cramps down there today. I am really hoping it's not AF, but it could be, since she is due. I'll keep you posted.

Good evening everyone. Mindi - thanks for your nice words - hope evil af hasn't shown up. I've been cramping for 2 days now and am generally feeling quite uncomfortable in my abdomen although I'm only 6dpo today. For those of you who have BFP - did you have cramping and what did it feel like?
