Metformin and Clomid...

Has anyone here who has taken Clomid and failed with it and later took Metform with the Clomid and succeeded? I'm curious what the success is with PCOS and metformin and Clomid. My doctor told me I am responding well to even the low doses of clomid, developing follicles 20+mm each month, but she has decided to add the Metformin with the clomid this time. I'd just like to know what range of success/or no success I can expect with this combo?
