Accounting is fun, fun, isn't it?!?! When I started doing accounting, I was still in school. Then I stopped after just getting a 2-year degree. After working around other people doing the exact same thing I was doing and getting paid twice as much, I decided to go back to school!! Surprisingly, that time I really enjoyed school and ended up even staying longer than I had planned. Have you always done accounting?

Hi ladies. Galina--welcome back! I'm glad you have a RELAXING time in PS. You needed it, girl! Sorry you missed your O this cycle but hopefully you did get to BD on Wed. before you left & maybe some of the spermies stayed alive along enough. :) Here's hoping. Lilly, you're getting your results back today, right, FINALLY? I'm sure they'll be great. I'm glad you told your in laws your wonderful news. Awww, you MIL sounds like she will be a loving grandma. You're right, this is the month that Cheri predicted I'd get PG. That's funny that everyone thinks you'll have a girl. Everyone thinks I'll have a boy, which is great by me. Christina, oh I'm sooooo glad that your family party went well & no one said anything to you about TTC. And I'm happy that your DH is feeling better. It is rough on them too, though it's easy to forget that. My DH has sperm issues too but we mainly focus on the fact that I have issues as well (PCOS), I call it the lucky 40% (the % of couples with male & female issues). But really it's no ones fault, it's something we can't control but fortunately there are options & ways around it. Good luck with the Clomid & hopefully this will be your cycle. Oh & I'm a fan of mystery/thriller books too. Who are some authors you like? Oh & that's great that one of your friends is coming up to stay with you. Have FUN! Ann, wow, I'm tired just reading about your schedule this week. Yikes. I'm glad you got lots of sleep on Fri. though. Sleep--good! That's good that your waiting for this meds cycle is almost over & AF will be arriving soon. I was looking at the calendar this weekend & I'm going to have a major schedule conflict if I'm not PG this time. We leave on vac. on May 7th & AF is due to not show up on 4/30 so that's not enough time at all. I'm so glad thru you I've learned about suppression before a med cycle so I can ask my dr about that IF necessary. I agree with Galina, you guys are such a big part of my life now. Anyway, the IUI went well I think. We had a count of 57 mil, so hopefully that was enough of a pool for plenty of normal shaped spermies. The spa treatments were pure bliss. Maybe it was enough to encourage a sperm to penetrate my egg? Here's hoping! Later ladies!

Hi guys, Ann I can't believe how busy you are! You have a great attitude about it and at least you enjoy what you do. I am having a stressful day today coming back after being gone only 2 days from work. Lots of catching up to do. I love mystery/thriller book too, however, this time I read a "poolside" book by Candace Bushnell who wrote Sex in the City. The book is called "Trading Up" and was a perfect 576 pages to make the days by the pool a bit more "exciting". Mega, remind where you are supposed to go in May? My associates wife had an IUI done today because she was not able to go through with her planned IVF. It is so sad...she is 45 years old and this is her 2nd IVF. After ALL of those drugs, she only produced 1 mature follicle and the drs cancelled the IVF. They offered her to do an IUI so at least she would not have taken the meds for nothing. I feels so bad fo her. Anyways, I will check in later after I do some work. Hope everyone is having a good day.

Mega where are you going on vacation?? we're going in may to Ny.. and AF will show that week.. WELL I HOPE NOT! :) wow! 57 mill, my gosh that's a wonderful chance girl!! I'm so excited for you, i can't wait for you 2ww to be done with!! I know i'm so hooked on seeing how you all are doing, etc.. our little family. :)

Mega do you know how big your follies got before iui?

Ann1 - April 17

Mega, you said "egg" does that mean that those 12mm follies didn't make it? Galina, I like mysteries, too. I have usually can't put books down when I start, so I don't start them too often. I just started reading The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova. It is about a girl that runs across some letters at her dad's house and she goes on a search to determine whether Dracula really existed. One thing I like about it is it is set in Europe. The book has a map inside the cover so you can follow along. Christina, good for you for going back to school. When I went back, I thought, "But, I am going to be so old when I get out." I rationalized it by thinking, "Well, I am going to be that age anyway at some point. Better to be that age with a degree!" I would stay in school indefinitely if I could make money doing it.:)

ChristinaC - April 17

I'm reading one of Alicia Seabolds novels right now. I'll have to check on whom else i like to read. Have any of you read Thomas Harris? Red Dragon? I couldn't sleep in the dark for 3 days after that. Yah Ann i figure better late than never.. And i take classes as i feel so i'm not so stressed out about school and TTC..

ChristinaC - April 17

you know if we got paid to go to school you could bet you'd see me there too everyday! LOL

Mega - April 17

Hi ladies! Christina, Ann, I don't really know if 1 or both or niether of the 12 mm follies made it or not. They don't do u/s the day of the IUI unfortunately & I didn't even think to ask/beg for one. I guess IF I get pg this cycle I'll expect 1 baby & if I get 2 that will be a wonderful surprise. Galina, you're right chick lit does make wonderful vacation reading though! Glad you had a nice poolside read. Sorry that the work piled up in your absensce though. Isn't that always the way?! Yikes. Ann, the book your reading now, "The Historian" sounds really cool. I'll have to check it out. Christina, we're not actually 100% set yet on where we're going on vac. I actually suggested getting in the car & seeing where we end up but DH didn't like that suggestion too much. We're leaning towards going to VA--namely Colonial Williamsburg, I'm sure it'll be a great, non-crowded time to go. I have to do some research though, make sure all attractions are open, etc. Ann, Christina, I'd love to join you guys as a perma student. You guys find a way to make $$$ doing that be sure to let me know. Okay?! Christina, I hope you feel better soon. (I forgot to say that earlier) Being sick is never fun (duh!) but it's especially henious on a Monday.

Ann1 - April 18

Hi guys. I am glad you didn't write too much yesterday, because the thread is too long again for me to read on the handheld!:) Christina, are you feeling better today? Lilly, that is crazy that you don't have simple blood test results back in 6 days!! Let us know when you get them. It is probably time now for them to take more blood. Mega, how is the 2ww going? Galina, that is really sad about your friend getting ivf. Does she have any children already? I am a little beat today. I didn't get in until 2:30am, so I got to work late this morning. Unfortunately, I didn't actually get extra sleep because we have dss, so he had to get up for school early.

Mega - April 18

Morning! Yes, I guess it's time again for a new thread, huh? If you can't load it on your blackberry now. Christina--a sinus infection, yikes. I hope the antibiotics kick in soon & you start to feel better. Lilly, wow, going on a week tomorrow & still no results. That's ridiculous, I'm sure you'll be hearing from them soon. Keep us posted. Ann, the 2 ww is going pretty good. I'm trying not to think too much about it & so far it's working. :) Though the 2 ww is usually much easier in the very begining than towards the end. This HCG shot has made my bbs very sore this time, so at least now I can't overanalyze that aspect since it's related to the shot now. Morning Galina. I hope the IUI works for your associate's wife. That must be dishartening having an IVF cancelled & made into an IUI instead. However, one of the co-authors of my infertility for dummies guide book had that exact same thing happen to her, she only produce 1 follie so they switched it over to IUI instead & that's the cycle she got pregnant in. So hopefully that will be the case for your friend. How are you doing? Hanging in there?

Galina - April 18

Hi everyone! I am going to create a new thread for us after this post - #4. Wow, we are really moving fast!! I am also a bit beat after a crazy day yesterday and what will be another one today. I am moving at the end of next week and it is crazy and I am stressed. I'll handle it though. Mega, I totally remember how very sore my bbs got after the HCG shot. Now, on this natural cycle, they are back to normal and I can totally see and feel what a huge effect those drugs have on our systems. My friend who got the IUI does not have any kids, so that is why this is so important for her. I really hope that what Mega said in her post will come true for her. Ann, are you supposed to start your AF tomorrow? Are you mentall psyching yourself up to the shots or are you trying not to think about it? Chsitina, I hope you are feeling better today. A good home remedy for sinus infections is boil an egg and then put in in a towel and hold it where your nose/sinus area is. It really works! Lilly, I echo everyone's thoughts about your crazy clinic! Ann is right, by the time you get your results, you will have to give another blood test. Ok, guys, I am off toget ready and go to work. I will create the new thread now. Talk to you later!

ChristinaC - April 18
