I would kick my husband's a--, if he said word one! My only response would be along the lines of the door not hitting him on his way out. Maybe I am insensitive, and I definitely know that the pressure to perform must be stressful for them, but please!! I feel like we, as a team, made this decision to ttc and we should each do our parts and be totally supportive of each other in the process.

I agree totally. Women bear the brunt of this whole process, I don't think asking them for some sperm now & again is asking too much. :) But then I'm lucky, my DH is always raring to go, anytime! Yes, I did skim the post earlier but had no insight to give so I didn't post there. Sorry about the gassiness & the problems going #2, Galina. No fun. I hope that eases up for you soon. I actually rarely have constipation ever, I actually have the exact opposite issue most of the time so I wouldn't notice if I was gassier than usual after the IUI or not. Sorry, TMI I know. I blame the met for the loose stool issue, though really I think it's more my IBS. Now that I grossed everyone out during lunch time...Ha!

Thanks, Mega. That is great for my diet plan!jk I hesitated on posting about that (DHs' frustrations), but it was eating at me. I tend to jump up on the soap box too often.:) I am lucky, too--scheduled or not, my DH is always happy to give. I know it is not "the same" for him, but we talk and laugh about it which takes the edge off for us.

Anytime, Ann, anytime. I have a gift for grossing people out, what can I say. Too funny. I just read your reply on that post & I think you made some wonderful points, I agree with you a 100%. I did like the suggestion of the poster before you too saying that she tells her hubby before hand he'll have to have sex with her, do his part, take one for the team. I thought that was a cute, guy-friendly way to put it.

That was funny. It is also a good idea to mix up the timing if your dh has performance anxiety. I just have a problem with the dh complaining about it!!

He guys, hope your are having a good day. You know, the first thing I do when I sit behind my computer is check this thread. It has become some a HUGE part of my life, you have no idea. I feel as though I am addicted in a way. I have a quick questions for you guys: what do you count as the day after IUI or the actual days post O? Is IUI day considered as day one or do you start w/the next day? So, if we all had IUI on Friday, is Friday day 1 or is Sat?

Ann - March 21

Hi Galina. I am a fellow addict. When I am not busy, I just wait for a post to update! The day after iui is 1dpo.

Ann - March 21

Galina, also the dpo count should be the day after you O, so the day after iui is assuming that you Oed on the day you had iui.

Hi Ladies. I'm new here. DH and I have been trying to get pregnant for almost a year. I will be 35 this year, so I was referred to a specialist to get some help. We did all of the pre-screening and everything looks good. We fall into the category of "unexplained Infertility". I had an IUI on March 10th and I feel like I am about to lose it because I go on March 24th for a pregnancy test. This will be one of the longest weeks of my life. I hope the best for all of us. :)

Ann - March 21

Hi Kaitlin and welcome. It sounds like you are in the same situation as most of us! Only, to me, you are lucky, because you have less time to wait!! Did you do any meds this cycle? Good luck to you.

Galina - March 21

Hi Kaitlin and welcome! Well you are also in the same 2ww as Ann, Mega & myself, however, as Ann said you are lucky b/c you will know sooner. I am also diagnosed w/unexplained infert. & this my 2nd IUI attempt. I look forward to reading your response to Ann's question about what you've done??

Kaitlin - March 21

Hi Ann. Yes, we started clomid on Day 3, then an injection of Gonal -F on Day 9. Did 2 more shots of Gonal -F on Day 11. Triggered with ovidrel on Day 12, then did the IUI on CD 14. I wished I would have found this forum 2 weeks ago. As much as my friends and family love and support me, they really don't understand what this feels like. I'm so grateful for this forum.

Ann - March 21

Kaitlin, trust me, I know what you mean. This forum has kept me sane! No one in my real life even knows we are ttc.

Kaitlin - March 21

Ann, you are smart. I wish I had never shared with anyone that we have been ttc. I thought no one else could add to the pressure. Boy was that completely false!
