JB--I'm not surprised you had a relapse after the 2nd trigger shot booster. I'm sorry you're in so much pain though. I think taking an extra day off is a very good idea. Whatever gets you thru the day--laying down, what not. I can totally understand not wanting to get your hopes up, but I can see why your DH, SIL, MIL etc all think you're pg. The signs sound promising. Keeping my fingers', toes' various other body parts crossed for you. Up next for me is my tx on Friday. The RE is defrosting 3 embies on Thurs., & plans on tx the 2 best. I think though I may call him on Wed. & ask if perhaps we can tx all 3 if they all survive the thaw. Up my odds a bit that way, since the odds go down a bit with a FET anyway. Today is my final Lupron shot & I start PIO shots tomorrow. Ouchie! HM--Happy Anniversary! I hope you get a BFP today as well. It will happen for you. Hang in there!

Thanks Mega! I am so jumbled with emotions right now... Mega, what are PIO shots? Progesterone? HM- HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!! I hope you are enjoying your day! Good Luck Everyone!

HM0825 - October 26

Hello JB and Mega. Just though I would drop by and give you and update. I took a pg test on Sunday, and it was BFN, so optomistically I thought it was still a little early. I enjoyed my anniversary on Monday. I took another test on Tuesday, and it also was a BFN. I called the nurse and she told me to come in today (Thurs) for a blood test. I woke up at 5am with extremely painful cramps, and low and behold, af has come for a visit. It is day 42 in my cycle, so this one was a long one. I am not preg, and we have decided to take the holidays off to enjoy eachother and not think about it. We will hit it hard again come the new year. So I am jumping of the TTC wagon for a couple of months, but I will still come to check up on you ladies. You have helped me more than you know, and I appreciate it. Good luck and lots of baby dust to you!

Mega - October 26

HM--So sorry for the BFN & for AF coming. 42 days is a long cycle, & of course you get your hopes up. Thank you, I'm glad we were able to help you. Good luck to you on your break, I think it's good for the soul to break now & again, esp. since holidays in and of themselves are sooo stressful. Take care of you! And yes, I hope TTC or not you still come & read & post here if you want to/need to. JB--How are you feeling now? Are the OHSS symptoms abating? When do you test? Good luck! Yes, PIO shots are the Progesterone in Oil shots. Ouchie!!!

JB0405 - October 26

HM- My heart is hurting for you, BFN's are so tough! I understand you wanting to take a break... I have thought of that as well. It may be the best thing. I hope that you enjoy the holiday season and please do drop in from time to time. Hi Mega- the pains are still here, less intense but still here. Nothing right now but when I get up, sometimes it feels as if my bottom half will fall out. Nights are worse than anything, when I want to turn over in the bed, OUCH!!! I have to be careful. Today at work there was an evacuation drill, so I had to take the elevator because walking down 17 flights of stairs would not be good for me right now. Nex week Tuesday is the big day provided that AF does not show, I am so nervous!

Mega - October 26

JB--Yikes, walking down 17 flights of stairs wouldn't be good for anyone. LOL! But yes, definitely not with OHSS & also being in your 2 ww. I'll be hoping & praying for ya on Tuesday. Good luck!!! May all the pain you've been thru lately be for a VERY GOOD CAUSE!!

JB0405 - October 26

Thanks Mega, I hope it works out too... If I get a BFP, GREAT!! BUT I hope that it will be a viable pregnancy... Please say a few good words for me!

Mega - October 26

I definitely will!!! Not just a BFP, but a sticky bean.

Just wanted to say hello... Hey BETZY, where are you? Kirk- how's it going? Hi Kerri, it took me 4 months but I finally got a glimpse of your beautiful little girl... How is everything?

JB0405 - October 30

Ladies, I had a scare today... DH and I were...well, you know...LOL! Anyway, I went to use the bathroom and among some fluid was some blood...I was so upset, so discouraged...DH said don't get upset until you take the test and find out for real...In my heart I just knew it was over for this cycle...a few minutes later, I used the bathroom again and there it was...BLOOD. I was in tears...DH hugged me and said I will not allow you to give up...you're not a quitter, etc. He also reminded me that lots of women bleed a little while pg. I looked it up online and I got some more encouragement. So much encouragement that I had DH drive me to the drug store so that I could get an hpt. I bought clear blue easy, the new digital version. I took the test at my MIL's house and it came out with a big fat.................... PREGNANT!!! I have not stopped looking at it! I don't want to get my hopes up though. I am going to take another hpt tomorrow night and go to the dr on Tuesday for urine & blood and the ultimate important day will be Thursday when I go back for the 2nd blood test to determine that my levels have in fact increased. I am still a bit on edge. Keep saying those prayers and keep crossing those fingers...

JB0405 - October 30

OK, here we go... I took another test this morning and it said NOT PREGNANT!!! I was so crushed by that but also confused... I called my doctor's office and the nurse told me to come in today and do blood and urine, so at least I could have the urine now... the blood won't be in until tomorrow morning! What do you ladies think?

Mega - October 30

Wow JB, you've been thru the ringer this weekend. False negatives are definitely more common than false positives with HPTs though. I take it you used tests from the same box both days? Anyway, I'm glad they're getting you in today for both the urine & more important the beta test. Keep in mind, the only real reliable test is the blood beta test. Good luck! I'll keep my fingers' crossed today & tomorrow that you get good news. Hang in there!

Mega - October 30

Here's my update: I had my FET tx on Friday. We defrosted 3 on Thurs., 2 survived. So the dr tx 2 grade B, 4 cell embies. I have my beta on Nov. 10th. So here's hoping!!! I'm cautiously optimistic, grade B is pretty good. We'll see...

JB0405 - October 30

Ok, so I went in today and the urine came out negative... I find out the blood results tomorrow... to tell you the truth, I believe that I am NOT pregnant! I am so disappointed... The nurse said it takes HCG 7 days to leave your system and my 7 days was Friday, so seeing that HCG causes false positives, they believe it was too soon. BUT blood doesn't lie...so I have to wait until tomorrow. Thank you for your support and encouragement!

Mega - October 30

JB--I'm so sorry the clinic's urine test was BFN too. But you're right, it's the blood test that actually counts. Hang in there. I'll still keep my fingers' crossed for good news, but at least now you're prepared for a BFN tomorrow, in as much as you can prepare for that.

JB0405 - October 30

Thanks Mega! I really appreciate it! I'm just kind of down right now but I'm sure I don't have to explain that to you! How are you feeling?
