Hi ladies. JLee27, if you were only takng clomid and no trigger dhot to make the eggs release, then you would only release one, and 17 is good....the other one at 13 wouldn't be viable egg to be fertilized-good luck you.
I still have no AF-not sure what is up, BBT seemed a bit down.....I am keeping my fingers crossed...

SONYA - When do you plan to test??

Katt - May 2

HI girls! My name is Kathleen. I am ttc #1 for 3 or 4 years. This past year being more involved with charting and all of that. After 16 chart cycles no pg and I just had a post coital a week or so ago to determine I am ok but my hubby's swimmers are nearly non existant SO IUI here we come. I am 8/9 dpo today and my temp is still up. Yes, I am on a 2ww with a natural cycle, but will be doing IUI on or around May 20th. I typically post oin one thread here as I am not so sure I can keep up with 2; but, I would like to try if you'll have me? Here is my chart if you'd like to look <http://forums.ovusoft.co

Thanks for the welcome. I just took the pregnancy test and it was negative. Ugh, I had all my hopes up for my first IUI. You would think putting the sperm right in the uterus would make it fool proof.

I am not going to be able to jump into another cycle of Follistim and IUI because we have to travel for two graduations in May and June that are out of town. But, I am trying to stay positive. I need to take my mind out of this whole process which is hard when you are totally OCD.

So, I think we may be forced to do cycles "au naturel" which might be good to take a mental break. But, I still like the control I have with the meds when I can know how that I am definitely ovulating and when it happens.

Has anyone else had any experience with a damaged fallopian tube?

Good luck to all! Maybe if I keep reading everyone else's wishes to stay up that it will have some influence on me.

Take care!

jlee27 - May 2

Sonya, I did have a trigger shot monday (hcg). But I would feel better if I had more than one good follicle. Is there something else I can take that might give me more?

HAPPYMOM - May 2

Hello ladies. jlee...My dd came about through the clomid 50mg cd3-7, hcg trigger, and iui. My follicle at the time was 18 and it obviously worked so I wouldn't worry too much about having enough follicles, all it takes is one. And if it doesn't work, they can increase the clomid for the next cycle or try the injectables, (there's' so many out there). Sonyamac...I am so anxious for you, it's Wednesday and I couldn't imagine waiting till Friday to test, esp w/ all of your signs (headache, slight pain, spotting etc...) I'm having very positive thoughts and prayers for you!

Sonyamac - May 2

Jas112-hope that you are feeling better each day! I had to go for blood work this am...I had a lot of pains on the left side,,,no AF. had some spooting/lining stuff-but nothing-gone and no AF-so the clinic wants to rule out a Tubal PRegnancy-if I am pregnant at all..so I will know tomorrow-I really doubt that it is anything..I know that it has been a stressful few days-My Grandmother passd away and we had the wake and then the funeral on the weekend, but i have had a headache for at least a week now, but no sore bb's...I really hope that my cycle isn't totally screwed up! Who know's maybe I am pregnant??
Good luck everyone and thanks! I just wanted to fill you in on what is happening since this am with me...

JLee, at lest you had the trigger shot, some Dr.'s don't do it like that..that is good, one follie is good!, and No Follistim (that another shot that you take after the clomid to produce more eggs and get them to grow-but not everyone needs it) Good luck...your dh has super sperm! wow-110 post-wash with 97.5 % MOTILITY-THAT IS GREAT!!! I bet you will get a BFP this month, make sure that get busy bding!!!!
I will let all now about tomorrow am-thanks again HappyMom for the good wishes....I still don't feel like i did when I was pregnant with ds....anyhooo, gotta go.
Sonya..BABY HUGS TO ALL............

Thanks Sonya for answering my questions. I hope I do get a bfp this month. I hope everything works out for you. I'm sorry about your grandma, I lost mine last march to alzheimers(sp?). I hope you get a bfp or at least find out that the spotting and pain is nothing to worry about.

Sonyamac - May 2

thanks JLee27-mine had Alheimers as well, she would have been 93-May 8th, it's such a terrible disease.....Best of luck and keep us posted!

chele - May 2

Jlee, lot's of wishes flying your way. That would be a wondeful gift before he leaves :0) SONYAMAC, oh forgive me, I thought that you were taking meds now while testing. No way, now that I understand I don't think the OPK is a bad idea at all, actually the opposite. If it can help you to determine O and you can get pregnant on a natural cycle that would be wonderful! As for me, yes it was a very long day :0) Met w/ the RE and he explained the whole process and course of action he would like to take w/ me due to age (36) and my FSH level (it was 10.4 on day 3 and 11.4 on day 10) when it was checked so it indicates a diminished reserve or poor quality... not sure. Any hoot it was very informing. I won't be on bcp as I knew but I found out I will take Gonal-F 1x day at 450units. He is not using Lupon w/ me as most girls do because he has found in his studies and positive outcomes that it does not really do more then this other drug (which does the same thing) does. Difference is, the Lupron is like a 2w ritual and the drug I will be on is for 4-5 days :0) I will be doing HCG, and then there is Menroprex (sp?), a antibiotic, and gee there's another drug that dh has to give but can't remember (it's written down upstairs), oh and yes the wonderful Progesterone in Oil shots:0( I tried to get away w/ that but nope, he insits on the injections. The surpise was that he said remember the HSG you had done at the end of 2004? and I almost cried when I thought I knew what he would say.... actually he said I don't want to put you through that again since it was clear but I would like you to have the Histroscopy (I think that's what it was called) they go in w/ a lighted instrument to check the inside for polyops, scarring, cysts, etc.. We counted the days and today would be the cut off to get in this cycle so when dh and I came back after lunch for the injection training I had it done.... It was nice to just get it over and the good news is... Everything was GREAT! Yippee!!! It gives me a piece of mind. The did dh b/w and I have to come back for the cathetar check. I was going to do it all at once but they called my insurance and they said it's best to do another day as the insurance will raise an eyebrow to see so many things on one day.... Stupid if you ask me, they have to pay it anyway! Oh yes, I found out that the one part I have to pay up front $5880 for the procedure included ICSI, so that means the amount should be minus another $1,100 because the RE does not see the need in our case due to dh and his good quality/quantites. So here I go rambling, sorry but it was alot to absorb in one day and I'm registering it as I type. So to sum it up... I'm officially an IVF'r!!! It will be towards the end of the month when af should arrive and then I am on my way!!! :0) Oh yes, I did find out that he does not participate in the shared risk program and explained why. Also, I found out that he typically as a rule only transfers 2 good embryo's, once in a blue moon will he do three. He explained the reason to me also. He said in 2002 he did three and they all took... It was very hard on the couple to figure out what they wanted to do, and just a month ago he gave the exception to 1 other couple and boom 3! He just opened up his own IVF facility the floor below him in December of 2006 and right now has a 70% success rate! In his lifetime he has confirmed about 1/2 twins, other half singletons. Actually as we were checking out he was up front reviewing an u/s taken in the a.m. and said let's put our hand together (you know a team chant) and said let this flow on to you! He just confimed another success from IVF! Ok, enough of me let's move on to everyone else.

SONYA, I really believe this time worked for you! :0) HAPPYMOM, lots of healthy, sticky baby dust to you! KATT, welcome aboard! Looks like you and I are doing different procedures but we should be starting around the same time! Well maybe not, hopefully the natural cycle will work for you! FromVAtoNYC, this is a wonderful group of ladies I'm sure that you will be able to stay positive w/ all of us rooting you on! Sorry, no tubal damage, this is a better question for someone else.. JAS, that must have been a scare but keep listening to your doctors and rest, everything will be ok. :0) SONYA again I can't wait to hear the results tomorrow! I just know you are preggo! :0) :0)
