Did I say something to offend any of you? I come here for friendship and support and i feel like people rarely respond to me. Good luck and well wishes to all of you...

ekoorb......is that the hormones talking? ;-) I don't think anyone is being ignored intentionally. Come back! :-)

So most people here are about 10 dpo.......when are you all testing? Or are you waiting for AF? I always think I will hold out to see if AF arrives but end up testing ridiculously early <roll-eyes>. Ultrasound to check follies on Tuesday for me....I keep getting hot flashes, and am a bit emotional at times...... How are you feeling everyone?

I don't see a RE that's why I'm not monitored and considering a monitered cycle cost about $1800 a month I don't see it happening anytime soon since insurance does nothing. I am in constant contact with them and see them and I do have a u/s if something doesn't seem right. The month that was unmedicated that I had 9 follicles was after my last m/c and was about 6 wks after I had been on clomid so they thought it was still in my system since it can last up to 60 days. Only a few of them looked like that had a shot most were small around 3-4m. When I get pg again I will be closely monitored since I'm considered high risk. They'll start doing u/s on me at 6 wks they were going to do that the last time too but I lost that pregnancy before 6 wks. ekoorb you haven't offended anybody. I usually only respond if someone asks a ? otherwise I lay low. Plus most of us have been talking since the end of november so we know more about each other. Ask any questions you may have or vent if you need to we're hear to listen we're not ignoring you.

Gosia I have heard of women going into extremly early menopause. My FSH was great so they're not too worried. Plus I'm only 26.

chele - February 23

SASHA, that's great that you get a discount, any bit counts. Sorry you had to deal w/ that nurse you dislike... I can imagine it makes the actual process a little more uncomfortable then it already is. GOSIA, I am so waiting for your af not to show! I want some bfps! Ekoorb, I don't believe you have offended any of us... sorry if that was the impression. You are on the last week of you 2ww, how are you feeling? JG, I'm waiting for af (or not) so that I may start my last cycle of IUI. Hot flashes... oh yes, I had those the whole time I was on Clomid. One of my friends/co-workers just told me that right now she is 3 months pregnant but when she went for the u/s last Friday they could not find a heartbeat... : ( She went back Mon & Wed for more testing and tomorrow is the last u/s to confirm before they make any hasty decisions. She said that it's really odd because her levels keep rising as they should but there is no heartbeat to be found, and that the size is 4 weeks smaller then it should be at this time. Has anyone heard of this? I am so saddened for her : ( Good night and lots of Baby Dust to all of you!

Chele - Wow that's scary for your workmate - let's hope and pray for a miracle for her! Poor lady. Honestly, you think your worries stop when you get pregnant, then you worry about making it to 12 weeks, then you worry about the next ultrasound showing abnormalities, and the next one, then you worry that something will go wrong with the birth, then you worry like crazy and check on your baby 1000 times a day to check that it is still breathing.......it just doesn't end! But it's worth it all. Today is my third clomid......U/S will be on Tuesday so IUI probably on Thursday now. Hopefully we can go ahead if there are 2 or less matured follies. When is everyone testing? Soon for addie!! :-)

Sasha, When I was talking about the show about menopause, I did not mean anything that you might be going through it. I just found it very interesting what medicine can do now. I can understand now why you're not monitored. I did not realize that the cost of monitored cycle is so expensive. I probably would be in the same position. Great news about the discount and a nice suprise. Every penny counts when it comes to all the expences. Sasha, are you going to test or just wait for AF? I am 10 dpo, you must be close to me.Chele, I am wishing for a nice suprice for you. It usually happens when you don't expect it. I am sorry about your friend/co-worker. It happened to my co-worker in January. She actually miscarried at work in the bathroom. Let's stay positive Ladies. We need BFP's on this thread.
JG, this was my first cycle on clomid and fortunately I did not have any major symptoms besides being moody more then usual. I did take clomid at night. I was told it's better to avoid side effects. Ekoorb_79, Stay wih us, it's a great thread. I am usually in a rush, so I might miss questions. Sorry, it wasn't on purpose.Take care and have a great Friday.

Gosia I didn't take it that way, don't worry about it!! I am at risk for early menopause actually we all are. Anytime you start producing more egg with treatments you are taking away ttc time. So to say the least I'm praying this is the month for all of us. I'm going to test b/c I'll be on prometrium starting tomorrow so I'll need to know if I'm not so I can stop taking it. Chele I'm sorry about your co-worker!! I hate to say it but from what you said the baby did die 4 wks ago. That's what happened with my twins 1 measured 8 wks like it should have and the other measured 6w 3d so that's when that 1had died. It's such a hard thing to go through I hope she just had an incompetent u/s tech and they'll find the heartbeat today.

chele - February 23

Hi JG, yes it sure is a terrible thing she is going through. She called this morning and said they confirmed that she lost the baby. It's so sad :0(
You must be getting eager for next week. Will you be taking the HCG shot too? Hi Gosia, when do you think you may test? Thanks, I too hope it happened on this off cycle but we will see.... Yes, I remembered your scary episode w/ your co-worker when I was writing it last night. I can't even imagine what that must feel like... it may not help now, but at least she knows that she is able to get pregnant, they'll just know to monitor her more closely next time. Sasha, I hope I did not bring back bad memories, sorry. I wish all of you tons of BABY DUST!!! Talk to you this weekend.

SashaP - February 23

Chele you didn't bring back bad memories, it's something that never leaves your head. I had to go on happy pills to get through my due date. But I have come to terms with it. The only thing that is really hard is when I see a baby the same age mine would be. Do you know wheather or not your co-worker is going to do a D&C? I hope she feels better soon!!

jg - February 24

Chele - don't know whether I'll have hcg shot - probably though. I had it when I did IUI a few months back but it wasn't on a clomid cycle - just natural cycle. Can't wait! Excited. But hopes aren't up, if ya know what I mean lol. Oh Sasha I'm sorry you have had a traumatic time. None of this is easy eh. Trust me I know it, we all do. Happy pills you say? You do what you have to, to get though the hard times. It's great you are still TTC. It's a long and hard journey for some of us, but worth the effort ten thousand billion times over when you get your reward. Addie - How are you? Have you got a result yet? And Ekoorb - must be about testing time for you too? Wish you both lots of luck.

chele - February 25

Hi Sasha, actually I'm pretty sure that is what she did today.... they told her she could wait to expell it herself but she didn't think that was the way she wanted to go. I was reading another thread and for any of you that remember GOGOTRIGGER, well she got a bfp!!! 1st try w/ IVF!

GoGo Trigger - February 25

Hi guys, I felt my ears burning since Chele popped over to the IVF board to say hi...sorry I've been laying low :D I got great news this week...took a pee test on Wednesday and got a BFP at 11 days post ovulation (well, egg retrieval) and then sweated it out until the beta this morning, which came back at 725 (they wanted over 100, so it looks great!). All this after an IVF cycle that I thought wasn't going great; they retrieved 22 eggs, but only 5 fertilized on their own, and we had 3 transferred 3 days after retrieval. So I wasn't expecting much at all, but it just goes to show that there are miracles! Now I just hope and pray that everything goes well. I miscarried in 12/05 with a natural pregnancy, but that one was way different--lots of symptoms with this one and none with the other, only had 30 hcg with the last pregnancy and now 725 with this one. Hopefully this one's a survivor!

Gosia - February 25

O my, GoGo congratulations. This is such a great news. I am so happy for you. I am sure you will start very positive trend on out thread. Once again, congratulations. What kind of symptoms do you have or had in last few days? I am about to test in 3 days but I do not feel much. How long have you been trying? Chele and Sasha, we are next!

jg - February 25
