irregular periods and thyroid

i have been having irregular cycles since a m/c in feb which the doctor says is a coincidence. since then my usual 28 day cycle has been 35, 32, 37, 39, 43, and i am currently on day 46 no period yet. i have swollen and sore bbs with very sore nipples along with constipation (i even quite the prenatals to see if that helped and it hasn't) for the last three weeks with all bfns. they are now testing my thyroid and prolactin to rule those out before considering clomid. has anyone had a similar experience? did it turn out to be a thyroid problem or more serious?
