Hello. Could anyone tell me how soon a person can have intercourse after an HSG? Ive heard different, anywhere from 48 hours to 2 weeks. Any advise or comments? Thank you.

marymo my doc said that it was fine to have intercourse 2 days after hsg dye test but i think that it is up to you. only you will know if your body is ready that soon after hsg dye test, but there is no reason to wait for 2 weeks. right after the hsg dye test is when alot of women get pregnant so i would suggest 2 days after you can start having intercourse since that was what my doc told me. they will do the dye test right before your fertile period so that way you wont miss a cycle. good luck
