ladies as i posted in another forum "i think im ovualting" I've been taking metformin for a month now, i started my new dosage 850mg twice a day. well i had a little cramping in my left and right ovary. and as this may be TMI but when i went to the bathroom there was quit a bit discharge (like hand lotion) sorry if to TMI but is this the strat of ovulation? should i tonight with my DH? My doctor said it could take 3-6 months to start ovulating but i've never had this discharge. last week i had a little cramping but no discharge so today is way different. any advice or coments i'd appreciate it. thankyou

It was creamy like color and a litle egg white looking followed by cramping in my left and right ovaries

When I ovulate it always look's like egg whites. I usually have pain with it too. BD your husband tonight!!!!!!

lol i will . but since this whole ovulating thing is new to me, how long does it last? because through out the day it isnt that much discharge anymore but i still have the O'ing pains?

You probably wont get anymore discharge... My pain this month lasted all day! What day in your cycle are you?

i usaully do, but my doctor said being on metformin should help regulate me. im just so surprised if i was o'ong because i've only been on this medicine a month now. but on saturday i had the egg-white substance sorry if TMI.

well i hope i did O, i did one of those Ovulation calendars online but it is saying Im 4 dpo but i dont think thats accurate. when you ovualte do you get the egg- white stuff before or after ovulation?

That's a good question... I think during... I never believe those online charts. This month I had egg whites on 10cd then again on 15cd. Which is kinda weird for me as it is usually only one day...

Cervical mucus (Billing’s method)
By checking your cervical mucus daily, as described in the chapter on the cervical factor, you can determine when you ovulate. Just before ovulation, your cervical mucus is thin, profuse, clear and stretchy, like raw egg whites. After ovulation, the mucus becomes thick, tacky, scanty and sticky. You can learn to appreciate this change in your mucus (by seeing and feeling it) and this allows you to predict when ovulation occurs quite accurately

LIKE I SAID IN ANOTHER FORUM, SINCE I OVULATED LAST WEEKEND, I'VE BEEN HAVING A CREAMY (LOTION LIKE DISCHARGE) IS THIS NORMAL? DOES IT MEAN ANYTHING, I USUALLY NEVER HAVE DISCHARGE, USUALLY VERY DRY. INPUT PLEASE

I am not sure I have any answers for you. I have the cramping in both ovaries for the past few DAYS, so I am not sure what the deal is. Today I wiped and the tissue was pink. I don't see any discharge for past few days,
But I agree with everyone else, you shld definitely grab your hubby and get to some baby dancing tonight!!! :-)
