i always get AF 6 days after ovulation. HELP me !

i am ttc now for 10 months. i always had irregular cycles but for the last 4 months. i get af 6 days after ovulation (or what i believe to be is ovulation). first i start with the brown spotting then pink..then af --why ? help !
