We have been ttc for 14 months. Iui with clomid 3 times- then iui, clomid and hcg shot once. I am ready to give up, it seems like if it was gonna work, it would have already worked. Anyone else have success after 5?

Please don't give up...I did 3 cycles with Clomid, then IUI which did not work for me...my doctor decided to go a little more aggressive and I did the injectables...1st try, I got pregnant! As of today, I am 9 weeks and counting...Good Luck!

My RE said the same thing, we should
try like 6 or 7 IUIs. First 4 or so on Clomid & then we'll probably move up to injectibles. I'm about to start my 3rd IUI & Clomid cycle, and I'm hopeful IUI will eventually work for me.

Hi. I due to go in for my first IUI next cycle. My doctor said to go straight on the injectibles as they monitor you better on the,--blood tests, ultrasounds etc. They know when exactly to do it then

I just spoke to a coworker the other day who I knew had fertility problems too. Turns out she went to the same RE I now go to. Anyway, her son is 1.5 years old, absolutely adorable. It took her 7 IUIs, they were just about to switch to IVF when she got pregnant. So it's definitely possible to get pregnant on your 6th or 7th IUI. Good luck! Hang in there.
