Hi everyone. I was curious if anyone out there is currently pregnant and on Heparin shots. I started my shots about 2 days ago and they were not too bad but gave me really bad bruising. I am currently reading everything I can about Heparin success. We have had 3 miscarriages in the last 2 1/2 years and this time we concieved while on Clomid and have been taking prometrium and daily baby asprin as well. Just nervous I guess and wondered if anyone was in a similar situation.

i have never heard of these shots what are they for?

Heparin is a blood thinner used when they suspect that blood clots are leading to multiple miscarriages. This is supposed to prevent additional clots from forming.
