Does anyone happen to know the general life span of sperm once intercourse has taken place?? Sorry for my ignornce, but my husband and I have been trying to conceive now for nearly 12 months. This month I finally used an ovulation kit and my test was POSITIVE this morning. unfortunately my husband is away on wrok until tomorrow, but we did have intercourse the day before yesterday. Im hoping I'm not too late ???? Can anyone answe this question. I seem to get answers froma a few hours to a few days!!!

3 to 5 days but I would vouch for the 3 days. but they recommend you BD every day during ovulation time if he doesn't have motility issues. if he has issues then every other day. Good luck
