Hi Karen - I'm sorry to say that I really don't know what that means. It could mean a variety of different things - early bleeding from menstruation or when some people get pregnant, they bleed a little around the time they should be menstruating. It's just hard to say. Have you ever had early bleeding before with your periods? Sorry I'm not much help but I did just feel bad reading your post - I know what the worry feels like. I'm actually due to start on Friday as well. I'll say a prayer for both of us and let's hope this is our lucky month!

I have had ealry bleeding before when due on my period but i come on the same day. Today it happended at 12.00pm and then it stopped, it is nw 10.00pm i am still get menstration pains, but no bleeding now.
I will just have to wait and see if i do come on my period, i hpe i dont and god bless u. I will say a prayer for u tonite aswell my friend.
U seem so kind and caring, how long have u been TTC.

Hello karen and Carrie. i really do not have any way of helping you two. i am sorry. i just wanted to mention that last week i bled very very light with a slight brownish color. i completely stopped thursday april 28th. also for that week and a little longer now, i have felt some symptoms of pregnancy. i am not sure that i am though. i feel like it but do not know. i used to be on the depo shot. that is why i am thinking i am not but another part of me is saying that i may be pregnant. i tried taking a test friday morning, april 29th and it said negative. the part of me that says i may be pregnant is saying that the test could be wrong. i wonder if i could test agian this coming friday and be able to get a for sure answer. i might try. i have talked to a nurse, but she said that i should wait through this month and seeif i get a period at all. i do not know if i can wait that long. anyhow, take care you two and best of luck.

Hi Karen and Amy - It seems like just a guessing game every month. You read and read and it seems like certain "signs" can mean so many different things. So you can never say for sure that "this means I am pregnant" because it could mean something else too! It is so frustrating. It's been a year and 10 months that we've been TTC. Such a difficult thing to go through - I feel both of your pain. I just pray every night and I truly believe the Lord will bless us if we trust Him. It's go to happen soon, right? Hang in there!

Its definatley a guessing game, all we have to do is wait and see what happens. Today i have had no blood stains and i am still get period pains, cant wait for friday cause that is my due date, i am so scared.

Good morning. It certainly feels like a guessing game. lol. it seems as if the pains are getting a little more painful in my lower stomach though. My breasts are feeling more sore also. my husband could not even hold me last night due to my pains. i took a quiz on here and it said that IF i am pregnant i would be 2 weeks. i wonder if i could test again friday and be able to get a correct answer. what do you two think?

Amy - maybe that slight bleeding last week was implantation bleeding? I don't know because I don't know what day that would have been in your cycle. I think its usually between days 7-10 when implantation occurs. The negative test could have been because it was too early. If you would be two weeks along right now then there's a good chance it would show positive on Friday but that's not even for certain. Again...that uncertainty is a killer! Sometimes there's not enough of the HCG hormone in your body yet for the test to pick it up - even if the test claims to be a good one! Have you ever had sore breasts before your period prior to this? That's one of my problems is that my breasts are always very sore 7-10 before my period so I can never count on that as a sign of pregnancy or not since they are always that way. Just don't get burnt out on hpts - when we first started trying my cycle was all messed up and I was sometimes not having periods so I would think I was pregnant. I took so many pregnancy tests that now I am afraid of them! I know that sounds weird but I have vowed that I will never take one again unless I am 99% sure that I am pregnant. You just get discouraged seeing one negative after another. Ok, enough negative talk. I sure hope you get a positive test - I would be glad to know that someone who is going through this struggle with me has had success!

Sorry - I meant that implantation occurs 7-10 days AFTER you ovulate - not day 7-10 of your cycle.

To what i can remember, i did not have sore breasts before i started. i think i may just go ahead and try taking a pregnancy test again friday. do you know if the health clinic will do a free test or do they charge now days? I know there is a clinic in my town (I think it might be affiliated with Planned Parenthood) that provides free pregnancy testing. Maybe check your local phone book under "pregnancy centers" and see if you come up with anything. Keep me posted! I'll keep my fingers crossed!

If i do decide to test this friday i want a professional to do it. you know? i could easily mess up some how. i think my husband wants me to do another hpt. maybe he would be embarrased to go to a clinic for me to test and get negative? i just want to know. not knowing drives me crazy. i just wish there was another way besides missing a period that let you know it was a good time to test.

Glad to read your comments, i do hope we all get pregnant soon. I also have sore breast when do on my period so i am cofused aswell because pregnancy symptoms see so simliar to period pains. Amy i thibk u should take the preg test again on friday. Like Carrie said it ws early when u took it before. I pray to god we all have some good news to share with each after friday.

Hey karen. Thank you. i know i want to take another test. i just hope that it still would not be too soon. i will let you guys know though what the result is. ok? anyhow, i think i do have some good news. i went for a job and had a drug test done and just a few minutes ago, they called asking me to go for a physical. i think i probably have the job. i am so happy on that. i just wonder though, IF i do find out that i am pregnant, and getting this job, would they still let me work? it is a factory job. they make tool handles. i go for the physical on monday at 4 pm. who knows, maybe that is only good news one. maybe friday will bring another thing of good news. deep breaths. lol. i will let you guys know ok? take care:)

Hi guys! Glad to hear your good news about the job Amy! It will hopefully be something to keep you distracted until Friday rolls around. I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one with the sore breasts prior to my period. My doctor says "Well that means you'll be one of those ladies who knows right away when she is pregnant because of the breast soreness." I'm thinking how? If I always have the breast soreness before my period then how would I know any different? Oh well - we'll all see. Though I wish you guys weren't in this boat with me, it is at least good to talk to other people who are in the same boat and know the emotions and frustrations that I'm feeling. No one seems to understand unless they've been through it or are currently going through it. You guys take care, ok? And we'll let each other know how things go on Friday?! :)

Hey carrie. where have you been girl? was wondering if i would hear from you again today. lol. thanks. i am happy about the job. i have a question please. do you havea family doctor? just wondering cuz i do not have one. i would like to ask a doc a couple questions, but i would like to know that the doc will not think i am stupid. you know. that is what makes me feel good talking to you guys. you do not think i am stupid. that means a good deal to me. thanks guys. :)

No I didn't disappear! I have a family doctor but I've only ever been to him two or three times I think. I don't get sick that often so I don't need to. I ask my ob/gyn most of my questions because I'm really comfortable with him. I was seeing a specialist but he just made me feel like a real idiot when I asked questions - I hate that. Sometimes I think doctors can know TOO much and then when you say or ask something stupid they make you feel so dumb. I certainly don't know everything about this problem we are all having but I have done a lot of reading and research on it the past couple years so I know a lot more than I did before this mess started! Hey here is an encouraging fact girls - my mom & dad tried for 3 1/2 years to get pregnant. They finally decided to adopt and tah-dah, she found out she was pregnant! They went on to have EIGHT of us kids. So this problem can and will pass...its just a matter of patience and prayer! :)
