Hey Carrie....we are really close in our cycles this time. Will you need to go back again after the 23rd appointment? When I did follistim, I had to go back 3 times until trigger shot. This month I am taking femara only. If nothing happens, we are going back to follistim. I am approved until 2/2/07 for $25.00 a month. What IU are you taking for follistim? I am doing 600IU. I hope both of us are as lucky as Helen. Let me know how you appointment goes.

Lynn, your appt is the same day as mine. i'm keeping my fingers crossed for the both of us!! i hope your headache is better today. you have one more year for the meds. you'll definitely get preggo before the year!!! hope this will be your month. Carrie, that's so great that your RE is trying to keep the costs down. most RE's don't really think about those things. i hope you have a lot of healthy follies growing inside you. when are you scheduled for your IUI? as for myself, i'm kind of worried because today i had some watery discharge. i'm wondering if it's amnio fluid leaking? or am i being paranoid? if it persists, i'll call RE tomorrow. please say a prayer for me when you can. thinking of you girls and hope we all get what we want!!! sending you tons of baby dust!

Helen...if anything changes, let us know. I am so praying you are not having any problems.....positive thoughts chick and everything will be okay. I will let you know that afternoon what happens. I am taking the morning off and going into work after my appointment. Let me know how you appointment goes. Carrie is going on Thursday so all three of us are going to be busy. I wonder where Mari, Okiejpb and Anna went. hey Helen.....quick question, since you paid for 3 cycles...what happens to you other 2? Do you get to carry them over?

Lynn- well my appt is tomorrow morning..this part seems to always go smoothly..its just the getting preggers part I can't get. I am taking the femara and then the 600iu of follistim. She told me to take 150 and the last night 125..that covers that vial. Hopefully I'll have a number of follicles like last month. I'll post tomorrow and let you know. Well appt went well. I have 4 follies. I trigger tonight and the IUI is on Saturday. We talked a little about IVF today as well..she suggested if this doesn't work that we really consider that. She thought I would have already been pg by now. I told her that I am a bit worried about that more because of the shots than anything else..She said they can do it orally or vaginal..if I can't handle the progestrone shots.. God I'm such a weenie!!! Anway, that is the update. Good luck to you both tomorrow..you have my thoughts and prayers!

Carrie, that's a great # of follies. good luck with your IUI!!! will your DH be there with you this time? the injections are not too bad with the IVF. if it is an option for you, i would do it. ask if they have financing? with your unexplained IF, you'd be a great candidate. but, before all that, i'll be praying for your IUI to work and you finally get that BFP you so deserve! Lynn, finally, tomorrow is Friday, yeah!!! i haven't had any more watery discharge so i'm relieved about that! i'll feel so much better after tomorrow. I pray that you have at least 4-5 great follies on your left side!!! is there any way you can save some money and do a IUI with the meds? since you were successful with your last IUI, i'd say give it another try. I don't get to carry over the 2 cycles if i carry to term with a live birth. but, i have to say, if this pregnancy gives me a healthy baby, it would be all worth it! i'm just praying that everything will be okay tomorrow. and thank you Lynn and Carrie, for your prayers...i'm sure God is listening. sending you girls tons of baby dust and hugs.

Carrie....yeah for the follie count!!!! I so pray this happens for you. If not, will you be doing IVF? Whatever you do, just know we will cheer you through it. Right now financially (even if I try for that grant you told me about Helen) we cannot do that. I am a little scared about tomorrow. I so hope that my follies are on the left side. Hi Girls. Sorry for not having posted in a while. I've still been checking in from time to time, but needed to take a little break. When I had my appt a few weeks ago (mid-cycle no meds) the RE only counted abou 6-8 follies so he recommended a micro dose lupron cycle. This came as a totally shock to me that I had so few follies. Instead of trying the micro dose protocol, we both decided that I should sit out a cycle to let my body get back to normal. Boy, the bcp's really did a number on me. My next cycle started this past Monday, and although I haven't made an appt, I'm supposed to go in for another mid-cycle u/s in less than two weeks. I'll play it by ear. I may just decide to sit this one out two and start with my next cycle. Emotionally is has been nice to take a break. I'm very glad to hear that everything is going well with everyone. Good luck for all of the upcoming u/s, ET/ER's. Helen- I still so very excited for you. Definitely keep us posted. I also pop over to the IVF 2 board to see what's going on. This is such a nice place to post as we are all or have all been in the same boat.

hi girls...Okiejpb, so great to hear from you. sorry you're having such an ordeal from the effects of bcp's!!! i know you must be anxious to get started. i'm always thinking of you and hope you are well. Lynn, how did your appt go? i'm praying you have lots of follies on the left side. Carrie, thank you and all of your prayers have worked. the baby is growing strong and the heartbeat was at 142/minute. and the watery discharge i had was from the other sac without a baby in it. two had implanted but only one made it. i'm okay with this, a little sad, but, i will be so happy if God gives me one healthy baby. i've graduated today as well, sad to leave my RE but i will be back for siblings!! i now have a 98% chance of carrying to term. i'm so relieved and today is the 1st day i can breathe and feel happy about this pregnancy. i will pray to God everyday for you girls to join me soon and have lots of 2006 babies!!! happy baby thoughts girls!!!

Okiejpb....so nice to hear from you. I am sorry this has taken a toll but I am glad you are still staying positive and going through it. I know one day soon you will type...."I am pregnant" Helen....I am sorry to hear one did not make it but at least they know why you had the discharge. Did they say what would happen to that sac? I know if I ever have the chance to graduate, I too will be scared but my new OB is wonderful and waiting for me to show up pregnant. Please do not leave us until you have your little person. I want to hear what goes on. Carrie...I am right behind you in this cycle. We can go through the 2ww together again. My appointment went well. I have 2 follies on my left side. I am taking trigger tomorrow and then......my estridol (sp) levels were 440 and I was told they look for anything over 150 so that seems promising. My uterine lining was at the proper place for cd 12. So now we just complete the trigger, BD for the next 4 days and wait. Gosh....here we go again. check back later....

Well, DH and I went in today for the IUI so the official 2ww has begun. He had really high sperm count this month so hopefully that along with 4 follicles will help. We also discussed IVF and I think if this doesn't work that will be our next step. I hope it doesn't come to that but we'll see. Good luck lynn on BDing..I'm right there with you. Helen..glad to here everything is fine.. I'm really happy for you. A funny story (to me of course) Today in the doc's office, DH and I were looking at the board with all the baby's delievered on it..There was an adorable picture that had two kids and a dog laying in the bed with the covers over them. Hubby and I were laughing and told our RE that we would like a baby like that..pointing to the dog..another women there started laughing and said that is what I said too..We felt so good that although this has been stressful and disappointing we are still finding things to make us laugh and smile. I know now that everytime I go in there I will see that picture and smile..Keep smiling and laughing!!!

Carrie....Good luck girl adn I will pray it works for us. I got dh to give me trigger at 5pm. Since we already BD the last 4 days, tonight is a break and we will pick up the next three. I am planning on covering my bases. I would love mothing else in 2 weeks to tell him we did it. I would truely love nothing else than in 9 month to deliver a baby for us to cherish. It is going to happen...we just need to faith, hope, love, and laughter.

hi girls...Carrie, i'm so glad the IUI went well. how is the 2ww coming along? i'm so happy you found a little humor in such a stressful situation. keep those thoughts with you. i'm also glad to hear you are keeping an open mind to IVF. it will happen for you, i promise!!! Lynn, how's the bd'g coming along? that is so exciting that you have 2 follies on the left. i have a good feeling for you this month! as for the empty sac..the RE said the body will naturally absorb it, whatever that means. i've come to terms with it this weekend and moving forward to being blessed with the one i have. i made my 1st OB appt for March 10th, next Friday, and i am excited to see my baby again. by then, i'll be in my 9th wk. I'm sending you girls lots of hugs and baby dust for you 2ww!!! that's so great that you girls share almost the same cycles. i'll keep my fingers and toes crossed for the both of you!!!
