Thanks. Hopefully it will go away soon and I won't have to continue using these things. I have changed my soap to the Ivory that is 99% natural and I always use cotton panties. The soap was recommended by my gyno.

Hey, I have been really really trying since February or March. Hopefully we will both be pregnant by the end of the year. Have you gotten checked? If not, you should have your OB/GYN run some tests to see and if you are okay, then you should have your husband check himself. There is a male home fertility test that you can get at Walgreens. We can continue chatting here if you want. I think it is easier and people have access to our information that we can provide to them as well.

I have a son already he just made 4 yrs old, my husband and i wanted to have one right away so we tried 6 months after he was born, Well while in the process i gained alot of weight and my menstrual got all whack so i gave up trying after a while started to focus on going to school again for my RN degree had to stop that because i have to take care of my husbands grandparents. I took care of mines till there dying day and wasn't about to give up his grandparents no one else in the family wants to do it so you know they deserve to be taken care of well. So now im on the birth control to regulate my menstrual infact i have one more month to get it regulated so well see from there. No worries girl you will get pg soon. Keep me posted! Paula

Hi I'm new here just wanted to ask a question, I have been diagnosed with bv and I can't stand the smell it's getting in my clothes and the smell is even in the air. I have bv and I somehow passed it to my mate and the doctor prescribed me cleocin, I hope this works. I asked him about my mate and she told me to rub some on him every night for 7 nights and it should go away, do anyone knows if this works?

Hi BV. Last time I got a fishy odor after two days of doing that with hubby (He wears a condom as antipregnancy measure for me), so I went to the doctor and she told me everytime I have sex, I immediately have to go pee so my fluids from the orgasm come out and don't stay inside spoiling, which causes infection. So, she prescribed me something called sulfamethoxazole (2 pills per day for 5 days), and it worked and the infection disapeared. Now, after four months I got another infection smelling fishy (did not go to pee right away after sex with hubby), so I'm sure my fluids from orgasm got spoiled inside. Bought that remedy that says "antifungal treatment for the vagina" and made it worse. Now I'm very smelly, with my clothes smelling ugly and geting that in the air.. I'm about to go to the doctor for my appointment in a few days. Look forward to start getting my treatment and now I learned that I gotta pee right after sex!!! Lol...

I do the same thing ,never before with anyoone else but hubby and I have been with him for 12 years.I go to dr every 6 months for my fertility pills but never have had BV so maybe I am allergic to him!

Hey GPP lol yea your getting the same thing as me the clothes and the in the air.... lol. But yea gonna try the cleocin and see if that works. Tried the Enzara but it only stopped the smell for as long as I took it. If you want to keep from smelling I suggest you buy a lot of Enzara until it goes away lol. But anyway if you know what to do to get rid of the smell in the clothes and in the air or anyone. Please tell me what to do this is so embarrasing. I have this because of diabetes too, sight isn't life so unfair!!

NO NO NO! Not chemeical reactions from sperm or nothing like that. what u have is beacterial vaginosis caused by overgrowth of candidiasis which in simple terms is yeast. the vaginosis is a secondary infection after the yeast infection. you need an antibiotic. the symtoms will usualy subside within a few days. go to the doctor asap. yes, u may still become pregnant or may have ben pregnant but because the new fetus can not survive in an volitile bacterial environment, you may have had an spontanoeus fetul expultion or early miscarrage without knowing it. this is not harmful to you but if fetal material is left there, this may also cause a bad smell when your husbands penus disturbs the infected material. you may not be able to smell it until after he pulls his penus out.

I think I might have bv also. Can it just go away if you no longer smell the fishy odor? It only happens sometimes after intercourse and I am trying to conceive so I am worried about it hurting my uterus or fallopian tubes. Thanks for the information on bv I just thought the smell was something that was normal since it would go away.

Wahhhaa, it seems nothing will help me, I tried acidophilus pills and hydrogen peroxide vaginal wash it worked for like a week but the smell came back can someone help me please!!! This is driving me crazy. Anyone knows anything that will help and lasts please let me know would really appreciate it and believe that u are one of God's angels if it works lol. Thanks!!!
