Estrogen dom - anyone using progesterone cream?

my doc started me on PC bout 2m ago using it in a tier fashion from the 16th day to 28th/start of af because my est doesn't peak. I read that P aids in implantation. 1st month my af changed from bleeding heavy only 1 day opposed to 2/3. This month I spotted wk early for 6 days (thought I was implanting) I expressed to RN at doc's and she told me to stop the cream. 2 days later I started af and again only bled heavy for 24 hrs. Not sure if working or is detrimental to the cause?
