Does vaginitis cause/prevent fertility?

Hi, I was curious to know if recurrent bacterial vaginosis (vaginitis) causes infertility? If so, do you have to have it severly or how does it prevent you from getting pregnant?

I had it once...to my understanding from what the doctor told me, vaginitis is just like a really bad yeast infection. I was on meds for it and havent gotten it back since. Are you married or in a relationship with someone? If so, get youself treated for it, and have your partner get treated because it is possible to pass it back and forth to each other. So, while on treatment, abstain from sex, get tested a few days after treatment, and if you both are clean, you can go back to having sex.
