Addie, I re-read your originaly question and we are both literally in the same boat. I'm starting to question if I even Oed. Well, if I didn't than I'm in like an extremely low percentage of this happening to. You can almost bank an ovulation w/ a trigger shot.. big sigh. well I put in all my temps, etc into fertility friend and they're saying w/out much doubt that I O'd on Tuesday CD19. That wouldn't be good b/c we stop bding on the 18th. another big sigh.... Let me know about your test! One of has to have a success story out of this madness!

hey pmblake, yea I think that we both o'd and the meds affected our temps...too odd for us both not to O on trigger shot, ya know. I still have not taken a test, I think I'm scared to get BFN, at least now I still have hope! I am officially 2 days late! I have never ever been late! I googled to see if hcg can lengthen lutheal phase, and read that it does not, so I dunno. DH said to wait until Sunday, I don't think I can wait that long. IF my temps are high again tomorrow morning, I think I will test. Wish me luck! I will let you know wither way!

Fingers crossed for you!!!

Addie! where are you? Let me know how things went for you and your test. I hope you're out celebrating right now! and if not, come back and vent it all out here!

hey pmblake, I still dont know anything...still no AF and not feeling like she's coming. Took a test day after I was due which was only day 26, it was bfn. called RE and she said if I am it was probably still early since I normally have a short cycle...I would have to wait as if i had a normal cycle...so either tomorrow or Monday mon I will test again. The test I took was a cheapy, so I bought the good kind at store today. I will let you know either way! I hope I get BFP, b/c this whole late thing is getting my hopes up...I am never late! Thanks!

Hey Pmblake, Well the clomid and hcg shot did exactly what my drs have been trying to do...lengthen my luteal phase. AF showed up this morning and I just found out DH is going out of town when I am supposed to O. Can they trigger O early? O well...another month...how are your temps?

pmblake - January 28

Oh NO! I'm so sorry... I had no idea that it was supposed to lenghten the phase. Mine are long enough - that's the last thing I need. ohh I really am sorry. And yes, I guess you could get the trigger shot early if you're follicles are mature enough. I don't know though cause it looks like you took the trigger on day14. I don't think they would want you O'ing anytime sooner. Have you ever had an IUI? Have the Drs office take your husbands sperm and store it until O day? That's an option. We've done an IUI and it's no biggie but I don' t know about storing sperm. My dh has given his sample several times but we've used it immediately. Let me know what you decide to do. And my temps are 98.3-98.4 every am. I'm sure it's the prometrium kicking in. I don't have a valid chart to compare it to b/c my previous pregnancies were either uncharted or i was sick. So I can't compare these temps to see if it's normal for me. Were you are any type of progesterone this cycle?

mommy2josh - January 29

Hey PM, did you ever get the results of your Progesterone? I am waiting, should hear sometime today. Good luck :)

pmblake - January 29

Hi Mommy2josh! I posted on Friday I think - asking you the same thing! But yes, I went in on Thursday (3dpo according to ferility friend) and I had a big whopping 45 progesterone level. Needless to say I was really happy. You find out today? Oh and are you taking progesterone? I'm sorry - I can't remember if we discussed this already. I've just started promtrium 200mg 2x day. It's really making me crazy. I wish I could stop.

mommy2josh - January 29

PM awesome news. Yeah I find out a little later today, I just got an attitude from a receptionist at my RE's office. Whatever. Prometrium? Why are you taking it? I mean, your levels look great. I'll be back a little later to let you know. Will keep my fingers crossed for you:)

pmblake - January 29

I told my doctor that I thought my temps were a bit low so I asked for it. He was fine w/ putting me on it. I guess w/ all my m/c's progesterone could've been a factor. My temps have been 98.1-98.4 all week. My coverline was 97.8. I was hoping prometrium might boost those temps! Okay, let me know when your progesterone results come in!

Hey PMblake,
You said you have done IUI? Have you gotten pregnant with it? I think we are going to do IUI this month. DH is going out of town on day 13 or 14 so we will do it before he leaves as long as U/S shows good follie sizes. Please tell me anything you can about IUI??? When do you find out if you get BFP this month???

pmblake - January 29

Hi Addie! That's great about the IUI! Yes, I've had 2 IUI's and unfortunately neither were successful. The only times I've EVER gotten pregnant were months that I wasn't trying. I've been pregnant a total of 6 times in my life and not one was planned. I have 2 children out of those 6x. I have heard lots of people have success w/ IUI. It's really really easy. You'll take a trigger shot sometime before the IUI. Probably the day before. Your DH will have to give a sample at the crack of dawn. They'll take the sperm and wash it and process it for quality. I think over 12 million good little guys is the best. They'll tell you prior to the IUI. Then the procedure is the same day and they'll insert a very small catheter into your cervix and shoot the good sperm right up in there. I could feel my cervix close back up when he pulled the catheter out - kinda like a suction cup - that was the only thing I ever felt. It's less painful and less uncomfortable than a papsmear. You'll lay down on the lab table for about 10 minutes and then you're free to go. You'll notice alot of fluid coming out when you stand up and move around but it's only cm from where they opened your cervix. You'll do fine. It just wasn't in the cards for me but alot of women on this forum have had them done. Best of luck w/ it! :)

PM, I finally heard from the RE and was disappointed with a progesterone level of only 13:( They said in an unmedicated cycle 13 would have been good, but in a medicated they like to see over 15. So I am down in the dumps. If no BFP this month then I get upped to 150mg clomid and ovidrel. As I said before I am disappointed. When is your beta? I am going for mine probably on Saturday, but wont get the results till Monday. Good luck. Hope you get some good news soon:)

pmblake - January 30

Don't forget about progesterone. I think you can start 2 days after O? I started on cd3. I'm taking prometrium and it makes me wicked mean but it should help keep my progesterone up. Something you should consider next cycle?? Do they know if you even O'ed? Don't be down. I have a gut feeling that I won't be seeing a bfp this month either so we can hang together next cycle. And I don't have a beta scheduled. They said to come in if in 2 weeks I didn't have a cycle. I think I'll test with an HPT next weekend and then go in after that. Hang in there! We should be old hats to this!

mommy2josh - January 30

PM, they said that if I am above 7 then I o'd. Why do you feel that you are not pg? When I was pg with my son I didnt get any symptoms until past 7 weeks. I mean not one. I will try to hold off testing until Saturday. I have cramping in my lower stomache and around my ovaries, I usually dont cramp before AF, but I am not too optimistic either. Talk to you later:)
