How long after you start taking Vitex did you O and how many days after you started taking it did you get your period? I think I'm going to start tonight. I have always been irregular, I'm 30 years old and I got off bcp about 6 months ago, I got 2 periods which seemed 30 days apart and since then...nothing. My doctor gave me prometirum to get my period but it wont help me to ovulate is my understanding. He's HOPING that it will trigger normal cycles, but I don't get it cause I've NEVER had "normal" cycles.

i wouldn't take both prometrium and vitex.

I took Fertility Blend and it dried up my fertile mucus, not completely, there was little though. It delayed my ovulation too after 3 uses. It is good for the luteal phase though.

Saint Rose 83, Vitex does balance out your hormones and it will raise the LH when it needs to raise it. Like when you are about to ovulate. Vitex is worth a try, but as I said be cautious, it may delay your ovulation.

There is also Maca. It is a powder/herb. That too helps with cycles.

Hi Ladies, I read up about Vitex, and was thrilled to see it could help me with my PCOS, to TTC, I started it cd19 last AF was 5th Sept and have not yet had AF again I know it was probs to late.. but needed to try it as I am some what impient LOL,I wanted to know how much you are taking and how long it took to get preggies, at the mo i am tired feeling sick and lower back ache, I don't think I am preggies this month because I am not that lucky LOL, any feed back would be great * baby dust all round*

Also Like to add that i am taking only 500mg in the morning and b6 along with it, should I increase the doseage?

I have a 15month old boy who I am still breastfeeding and I have not had a period at all since I had him. I really want to try to conceive but that is very hard when I dont have periods to track. Does anyone know if vitex can bring my period back? I heard that it could and is it safe to take while breastfeeding and ttc?
