Does anyone know about the saliva Ovulation tests?

I have been ttc for 10 months now with no luck and a lot of irregular cycles. I tried the pee sticks last month, which didn't work for me, because I missed ovulation. This month I am trying the saliva ov. kits. It is starting to look kindof ferny but how long until it will look very ferney

i think it stays ferny for around 72 hours - ovulation occurs around that time.
