the depo isnt still in ur system, it jus dat when u take depo or the pill it can mess up ur periods for a few months after u have come off it...as long as ur periods were regular b4 they should settle back down soon enough, so try not to worry, but if u are in doubt go visit ur doc for a check up ;o)

Actually - yes the depo could still be in your system. I went through the same thing and eneded up on Clomid - didn't work, then fertility shots and now we are trying the IUI. Good luck to you!

It does take quite awhile for your cycles to get back to normal after depo, especially if you were on it for any length of time. Mine took more than a year before they were somewhat predictable again (I took the injections for a little over 3 years). Hang in there, it does get better!

IM NOT REALLY SURE ABOUT THAT I GOT OFF THE SHOT BC I BLEED FOR TEN MONTHS ON IT AND ONLY HAD TWO SHOTS AND STILL BLED FOR 4 MONTHS AFTER I STOPPED IT TAKES SOMETIMES A YEAR TO GET BACK TO NORMAL. QS I RECENTLY STARTED DEPO AGAIN TWO WEEKS AGO AND HAVE NOT STARTED MY PERIOD COULD I BE PREG.?

When I was on depo, my doctor told me that there were a few cases of patients using depo and it taking up to 3 years before they were able to naturally concieve! Needless to say, I got off the shot!

I have been off the depo for over a year now. My periods came back about 4 months after and now I haven't had one since early December. Don't worry, Amy, my gyno says that the depo is still in my system and if my period doesn't return soon she will give me something to jumpstart my periods. Baby dust to you!!!...and me!

Depo stays in your system for up to 18 mo after your last shot. I had irregular periods for a while and exactly 18 mo after my last shot I concieved and have a beautiful 17 month old boy

I was on the deop from Oct.2003 - June 2004 and i have regular periods and I still havent been able to concieve. I read.. that it only takes 6-12months for the shot to get out of your system depending upon how long you were on it.

WELL I WAS ON THE DEPO FOR 3 YEARS AND HAVE BEEN OF IT FOR 2 AND I'M STILL TRING TO GET PREGNANT.

it will take a while to get back to narmal, my periods were all over the place for ages after having 2 shots of depo, i've not been able to conceive naturally since and am on 1st month of clomid. its been over 3 years since i came off depo. it definetly messes with ovulation !

I was on Depo for a little over a year, and when I went off it really messed me up. I had bleeding for a month straight and got really sick. The dr. told me not to worry, but my husband and I have been trying to get preg. for 5 years now, no luck. I still blame the Depo!! Never again. Good Luck!

i had reg periods than i took the depo for 2 cycles, now i've been off it for 5 years now and still trying to get pregnant and now i'm just not ovulating every month. im taking metformin 4 pills a day and clomid and did my first iui feb and got my period on mar. 11.wish me luck as for all of you..

I was on depo for 6 years. I stopped in June 04, never had a period, got pregnant in November 04, and had a miscarriage in January 05. Yeah, I would say depo is definately to blame. Keep the faith and good luck........

hi i was on the depo for about 6 months. i blead the whole time i was on it, it was really light but out of 6 months i might not have blead like 15 days.. and after i got off it took like 3 months for my periods to get back to normal kinda.. its been a year and ive been trying to get pregnant for the second time but im not even ovulating.. so i've heard nothing but neg. stuff about the depo. so it is possible your system is still messed up from the depo but you could also be pregnant. i'd give it a few more weeks and go to your local healt dept. and get a test blood test are more reliable but you have to request those
