Hi, I was also given weird days to take Clomid! I take it days 2-6 of each cycle. Been taking it for 5 months now. TTC for 2 years and no luck.

I am now 10 dpo, and I have been having cramping the last couple days. I am hoping that is implantation, but I am scared to get my hopes up, because I have been trying for 2 years.

Cloe, I wonder why is it that only a handful of women so it seems that we have to take clomid on "special days" and the rest of women who are taking it get to take it on a more common days??? Anyways I just noticed tonight I have been having weird bladder pressure but not the same like I have to pee or anything but like contractions and horrible pelvic pain came on suddenly...and now it's off and on and my lower stomach muscles feel tight. I'm on day 26 I believe and I have very abnormal periods so Lord knows when my period will come...but here lately it's been about 30 something days long. I don't know what to say or do. I see the dr. next week on thursday or friday. but I'm afraid we won't help me because if it is ovulation then it will be too early to do anything and if it isn't then I'm scared to find out what it might be....DH really trully believes it's ovulation and swears that I went through the samething last month but at a different time of the month and it lead me to ovulation...I don't know what to think. I took an OPK Salvia test this morning but it wasn't dry in time for me to leave and I forgot about it until tonight and it's been over 12 hours and I noticed it was ferning all over the place...do u think it's accurate or not?? I also feel everything else still that I have already mentioned....so am I ovulating???

MuzikGurl, on what basis does your doctor say you are ovulating? He should have sent you for blood work every week, during the possible ovulatory time frame if you are irregular. (progesterone test). From the blood work he can determine if you are ovulating. He should not go on hunches. Also, did you try using the basal thermometer. I charted my first month on Clomid to see that it was working, and from the temperature chart which I showed my doctor, you could definately tell that I was ovulating with the Clomid. Also, different doctors have different ideas on when the best time to take Clomid is, but what is really important is for your doctor to be testing you for ovulation. If you are not ovulating, then he will need to up your dose of Clomid. Your periods should be regular while on Clomid. If not, it is a sign that you are not ovulating, and your dose should be increased.

Correction: Blood progesterone should be tested after the doctor thinks you should have ovulated. The progesterone takes a spike immediately after ovulation. But if it stays low, then you know you are not ovulating. How many cycles of Clomid have you taken? Also I have never used an OPK test before, sorry. I don't know anything about it. But if it were me I wouldn't use a test beyond what the instructions say. I used an HPT once and had an evaporation line, and thought I was pregnant when I wasn't.

I have never experienced the bladder pressure you were talking about. But, sometimes from the time I ovulate until my next period I get pressure in my upper abdominals, just under my ribs in the center. Tends to be worse in the evening. This month I have been having lots of cramping from 5 days before my period is due. ******Baby dust to all******

Hi Cloe, my doctor has onyl done one blood test from me sicne I started seeing him in Dec of 2005 and it was a beta pg. test which was neg. and that was last month I believe. I have only been on clomid twice. This is my second month on 50 mgs. Like I said I see him again on 4/7 if he doesn't do a blood test then I will request it jsut to see. my temp is the same as yesterday but I was up and down all night with bad allergies I took some allegra-d today and last night it's helping some. I'm nto cramping and it seemed like that pressure feeling some only for a few minutes and it was gone...who knows...on fertility friend my chart says I possibly ovulated on Wed. so according to that chart I am 3 dpo now. hubby and I bd'ed on thursday and last night. We have decided to have sex every night until time to see the dr again. or until my temps drop below coverline. my nipples are hard now and very sore feeling and that's really all I'm feeling besides the balloon head and stuffiness and sore throat from allegeries. I hope it was ok to take allegra-D during ovulation...=/ well, hope all is well with you I'll let you know if anything else changes.

I used to have bad allergies. I know what your going through. Good luck with the dr. oppt. I will also keep you posted.

OK, now I'm feeling pukey....and small cramping going from right to left and left ot right...it alternates...I'm kinda scared to take anything now because I found out my aunt took sinus congestion pills during her first three month of being pregnant but she didn't know she was pregnant and now she has a daughter who is mentally autistic who can't speak words, who's on medication and will never pass the mental age of 5 years old. I'm scared now...I don't think i'm pregnant but, I have been cramping and feeling pukey off and on and my nipples are sore and I don't know I haven't taken a pg. test yet because I see the dr. on thursday or friday this coming up week so, I'm hoping I'm not. I'll definately let u know how it goes. I'm thinking maybe cause I'm hungry that's why I'm feeling pukey but, nothing sound good to me at all....=( this really sux. pray for me to get better. I don't blame you for being scared! I guess better safe than sorry. I am waiting until Friday to test. This waitng game is difficult isn't it!

I totally agree! seems like you and I are gonna test around the same time...wouldn't be awesome if we both were pregnant?!? but, it would still be cool if we were then we can start over and help each other. today my temp was 98.6 which was my highest so far. I was up and down all night last night blowing my nose...that's a good thing, I think. I can sorta breathe again. I took one Allegra-D ( the min. doseage) and just used menthol nose spray and chest rub. Hubby went to McDonald's last night and brought me home dinner and I hardly ate it...it's like I don't have an appitiete for anything. I'm not that pukey anymore. I think the mucus from my nose dripped down to my chest...cause now I'm starting to cough more. and I have this achey feeling around my collar bones. I'm still cramping not too bad but still cramping so that's a very good thing I think. I had chills last night my body felt warm but I was freezing...I didn't have a fever though...it was strange. I also have been extremely sleepy here. I forgot to change me clocks up an hour last night so, I think that's kinda messing me up too. So, what r ur plans during the wait?? I'm gonna try to get over this allergy/cold then probably finally sit down and pay some bills..haha...how fun...but, at least it takes my mind off of everything else. hubby and I didn't bd last night I guess because the way I am feeling. But I'm gonna try to grin and bare it today/tonight (whenever we decide to do it)....because I don't wanna miss it...even if I am sick. Yeah, we find that the pressure can take the fun out of the BD. Especially when one of you doesn't feel that good; but if you miss it, then you are sol. My cramping has eased up as well, but it is still there. I was up through the night with cramps. I am not sure if it was menstrual type cramps or gas; sometimes I find it hard to pinpoint. I will probably fight with myself all week, trying to restrain myself from testing until Friday, if AF doesn't show up first. I find I really want to test, but I am scared to waste it! I feel that if it was BFN then it is a waste, plus all the disappointment. This week will be a hard workweek. I find that switching the clocks ahead makes it hard to get up in the morning. But I love the longer daylight in the evenings.

Well, I just got my BFN. :( AF didn't start, but I decided to test this morning. I am kind of depressed.

awww....I'm sorry but, it's still early...usually it doesn't turn very faintly pos. until 11 days past ovulation then some women don't get a pos. until after one month of missed period...this one lady on here didn't get a pos. until she was already 10 weeks pregnant...so, don't comepletely rely on a hpt. When does ur af supossed to show??? I am still sick. I took nyquil last night and a liquibid-D (prescribed) last night for decongestion. I slept great I woke up early this morning and felt a lot better than yesterday...but I noticed my CM was very wet like I got out of bed and felt like I peed on myself I was that wet. Don't know if it was just sweat or what from breaking my fever. I think my CM is too thick and I'm hoping that the nyquil will help it thin out...I heard that if you take robitussin it help make your CM more acceptable to the sperm because if you naturally have too thick CM then they can't swim through...so, I'm hoping it will help not only my cold but also my CM too. I'm breast still are sore today and I'm cramping more. crossing fingers it's not AF coming and just ovulation. It is late for me so, I am not sure. I gotta call the dr. before the 7th to see what time I come and see him...I can't remember I was in the middle of moving and lost my appt. card. I just remember it was on the 7th of April. double check that too. Well, I gotta go wake up hubby so he can get to work....I hope all is well...take care! Don't be sad of the neg. hpt....just wait until this weekend and test again and then test again next weekend. all the way until at least 1 week after missed AF...if you already missed it and still neg. hpt after this weekend then monday call ur dr. and ask for a beta (blood pg. test it seems to be more accurate and it can detect the hormone in ur system way before a hpt can).
