cervical mucus?

I've been TTC for 5 months almost with no luck. I've read up so much on timing etc.. One thing that keeps coming up is cervical mucus. I honestly have never noticed this kind of discharge and I have been keeping my eye on it. I used the ovulation detector strips, and when it said I would soon ovulate I watched this "mucus" but nothing changed. Help!

I generally start to notice the ewcm (egg white cervical mucus) about 3 or 4 days before I ovulate and then on the day of ovulation. I don't get alot of it but it is definitely different to other cm. This may sound a bit strange but when you use the b/r have a quick look to see if there is ewcm or check when you wipe. Also you may want to consider a lubricant called Preseed as I've heard that this has similar consistency to ewcm. Other women suggest Robittusen to help with cm problems. Good luck.

You do not have to have ewcm all ladies are different but you should note the change in cm .ie watery, creamy , slipperyetc.

Thanks so much ladies. We'll keep trying!!!
Funny, you spend so much time worrying about NOT getting pregnant but when you are actually trying it seems to take forever. I'm supposed to get my period on Sunday and I'm a nervous wreck. I'm sure that's not helping things. Best to all!
