What is up with all these stars getting pregnant lately? !? Do they have access to something we other women who are trying don't? Oh yeah, butt loads of money!!! It is just so frustrating, like they really have the time to raise a kid. Oh, well! Just me with PMS, once again a failed month of TTC. Grrr...

I hear you.

another pms case... - January 12

totally agreed! i read that Brittany Spears is thinking about having another one with the Feder-jerk to save their marraige too...what the hell?!? like she didn't get that having kids with his first babies-momma didn't help to save a failing relationship she thinks it's different for her. this is freakin ridiculous! i've been trying for over 2 years w/o a single pregnancy and these girls just keep popping 'em out and tossing them to a nanny!!! must be nice to have kids whether you want them or not and just hand them off to someone else when you get tired of playing mommy! GRRRRRRR AND ARRRGH! it's just as bad as all those girls in high school getting pregnant like it's a freakin trend right now....my (step) cousin is 17 and has a 1 yo daughter and her mom raises the baby and the only time she plays w/ the baby is when she shows her off to friends (which 3 of them are pregnant right now and they're all 16-17 yo)!! i mean do you have to not give a damn and not want a baby in order to have one?? i'm confused on how god works...women in here have been trying anywhere from a couple months to 15 years and cant get pregnant and these girls who aren't even old enough to go to a R rated movie alone have 'em like it's no big deal! where does this make any sense-that's all i want to know!

i don't think a baby would save any marriage. britney's was doomed from the start. anyway it seems like as soon as celebs want to get pregnant...boom they get pregnant. i thought maybe jolie had infertility problems like us, and that is why she adopted, but guess not. is anyone in the celeb world like us, or are they just so much more deserving? makes me sick! sorry iam having a rough day!

**** - January 12

good to know i'm not the only one that feels that way...

me too - January 12

Im sad about the news also but someone asked if any celebrity has gone through this like us and i know of 2. Brooke Shields and she finally got pg with fertility treatments twice (she is pg now) and the singer Celine Dion had to go through ivf with her first son and has eggs frozen which she will use for her 2nd when her contract is over in vegas. I always wodered if Julia Roberts used drugs since she has twins. I was so sad to hear about Angelina and Brad expecting especially how they got together and not even married.

WHAT???????? i did not know this. after what i saw about brooke sheilds, and her horrendous story of post partum depression, and the evil thoughts she had of hatred, and harming her child, i got so sick, i don't feel she was worthy of one child, much less another, but that is just my opinion, i know everyone is entitled to their own, or this wouldn't be a chat board. good luck and baby dust to all! ps- good to know, some celebs don't have perfect lives.

******* - January 12

yeah, that is kind of horrible of her to want a child so bad that she goes through fertility treatments and after having the child has thoughts of harming her...i mean i dont care how bad your post partum depression is, why would you want to harm the baby you so desperately wanted??? that just doesn't make any sense! and then to want another one...some people are just weird. i could understand if she wanted to harm her husband after everything she went through, but your child...that just seems derranged....just makes me think she needs therapy, not drugs for the post-partum depression. all i have to say is, if Paris Hilton or any of those other hollywood party girls have a baby before i do-i'm going to lose it! i will seriously have a mental break down. it's bad enough that Britney already had one with that moron and those weirdo's Tom and Katie are having one!

Well I bitter as hell to!! I just found out I have to undergo fertility treatment as well. I cant stand the fact that well deserving people cant have kids while people who have no business even walking up right poop them out every where!! Example:
My freinds foster child they were trying to adopt. The mother a meth coke head gave birth to her NINTH child(twins, positive for coke, meth, and fas) while fighting them in court.
I know two social service girls, both are mentally challenged (severely,) each have 8 kids each, one child was name orange jello and the other was lemon jello!! Not even to name the countless, single unemployed mothers I see pregnant AGAIN while I get another negative HPT. And I get sick of people telling me I shouldnt be bitter, but Ithat I should feel sorry for them, well forget that I am too busy feeling sorry for myself up on the gyno table getting hormone shots another month!! Ok I am done, I feel alittle better.....

Ladies, first of all, I'm very sorry all of you are going through a hard time trying to conceive. We've been trying for 10 months. It is very frustrating. Postpartum depression is a chemical imbalance in the brain best treated with medication. Women who suffer from this form of depression cannot control their feelings and without treatment are unable to control their actions. Speaking aloud of postpartum depression was considered taboo for a long time because women felt guilty for having such horrible feelings towards their newborns. People cannot understand how a mother can harm her own child. It was not their choice to have these feelings and without treatment they cannot stop them. Think of someone with alzheimer's disease, they are not able to control how their disease affects them, same goes with mental health. It makes me cringe reading and hearing stories about what some mothers have done to their children because they did not seek help for their depression. Think of Susan Smith, she drowned her two boys in the car in a lake or that other mother who killed all four of her children. As a society we look down on these women, when what they need is treatment for a mental disorder. I pray that we all conceive the beautiful children we are all hoping for and that none of you suffer from this depression.

Don't be judgemental - January 13

Although, I don't really care about what goes on in the Hollywood life, I do have to defend Brooke Shields and all those who go through post partum depression. SD is right. Post partum depression is an imbalance and is not something you have any control over. It causes you to think, say, and sometimes do things you never would have ever considered before. Most women have to be on medication to correct the imbalance. I'm sure it causes them pain just to look back and think about how they were and what they did think about doing. My aunt had it and thought about drowning her baby. A family member recognized what was wrong with her and she was able to get on medication that fixed it. She is a sweet, caring person and would never have considered harming her child if it wasn't for the depression. Please, don't be judgemental of them before you;ve walked a mile in their shoes. If you've never experienced post partum depression, then you have no idea how serious and debilitating it can be.

we know postpartum depression is a real thing, but if i ever had those feelings, i'd never give birth to another child. i have had a hormonal imbalance my whole life, and was never happier after having a child, but that is just me. it's just hard for us to be happy for anyone else right now, not just her. i just was blown away by the thoughts she had. i think i'd jump off a building, but you are right, we will try to be non-judgemental, it's just hard for most of us to fathom is all

i THINK ANGELINA WILL BE A GREAT MOM MARRIED OR NOT, SHE HAS ALREADY DONE ONE OF THE WORLDS GREATEST THINGS AND ADOPTED TWICE.CELEB MOMS ARE PROBS WORKING SAME HOURS AS US OR THEYLL HAVE THEIR KIDS WITH THEM. INFERTILE CELEBS PROBS FEEL SAME AS US LOOKING AT 16/17YR OLD WALKING AROUNG WITH PREGGO BELLYS HANGIN OUT AND PUSHIN PRAMS. POST NATEL DEPRESSION DOES STRANGE THINGS TO PPL DOESNT MEAN THEY DONT DESERVE TO HAVE BABIES. AFTER HAVING MY FIRST I TRED TO KILL MY SELF. THE HAPPIEST SANEST PERSON IN THE WORLD COULD GET IT DOESNT MEAN THAT IT CANT BE CONTROLLED AND WE CANT E GREAT MOMS!!

hey ladies, this forum was meant for everyone to vent their opinion on not being able to get pg. so lets not turn this into a debate about what you think everyone should feel about post partum depression-everyone is allowed to have their own opinion. some of us may think there is no excuse for wanting to harm your child, while some of us may totally understand post partum depression-but let's just leave it at that. let's not turn this into an argument. just say what you feel on not being able to get pg...dont start debates with everyone about PPD. know one wants to debate or argue-we just want to vent.

true, i agree with the last comment. let's all let it slide. **baby dust to everyone***
