**Starting Injections - Part 2***

Cmel--Well, if with a day 3 you have more embies to work with, you'd actually have more to freeze at any rate. Plus maybe with a day 3 you'd be more likely to be allowed to tx 3, whereas with a blast you'd almost definitely not be allowed to tx that many (risk of multiples). That's my 2 cents at least. I think with most people, a blast is more successful, I'm not convinced though with my PCOSy eggs I fit that category though. But at any rate that gives you some things to discuss with your RE at the consult, or things to ponder at least. No, no Halloween plans. Just passing out candy & taking my life into my hands putting my BIG old stubborn bullheaded doggie into his Halloween shirt. LOL! Yes, I'm one of those pathetic doggie mommies, hey he's my furbaby! I'm kidding, the shirt is in more peril than I would be. He likes to try to eat it as I put him into it. What about you? Anyone have any parties or anything? Lynn, does your preschool encourage teachers to dress up, bring cupcakes or what not?

Mega me and dh just plan on hanging out and passing out candy to any kids that come by. I heard you have less chance of multiples with blastocyst b/c they are done dividing, whereas day 3 the embryo could divide into 2? Anyways i will discuss with the dr. on thursday about everything - i have a tons of questions written down. Did you talk to your dr. after your 1st cycle??

Mega - October 31

No I didn't have a consult with my dr after my BFN, but I wish I did. I even left a message with my nurse to set it up but when she called back I got sidetracked and never pressed the issue. Grrr! I'm glad you're having one though. If this FET doesn't work I'll definitely make an appt. to discuss new things to try. I think, but I'm not 100%, that blasts are less likely to divide, but I think they still can. But multiples are less likely with blasts b/c they tx fewer b/c they're more likely to implant. I thought that's what I'd heard, but I'd have to double check on that. Happy Halloween ladies!!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Long time, no talk, huh? Well, I am not traveling this week, thank goodness!! And today is one of my favorite holidays. It is so beautiful outside, the weather and the leaves are perfect!! Campbell is a little miss Sleeping Beauty. So we will be filling the bag with lots of treats tonight!! I think dh will be hanging back and handing out candy, he loves that part! Campbell has a little parade at daycare today and she went in her costume this morning. Lots of excitement there! MEGA:: I am saying a prayer every day that those embies are implanting and burrowing in. I want this for you so badly. I am just assuming but you are not going to POAS this time?? Nov. 10th can't get here fast enough and remember, don't look for signs, I just got some preggo symptoms in the last 10 days, before that nothing. CMEL: I hate that you have to do the BC part too. I wish we could hurry up and be at the retrieval part of it. So what meds are you going to ask for this time. A higher dose or a different kind. I so want this to work for you too. I hope that you get lots more eggs this time and have some embies to freeze. KOT: I say take a test too, you never know. I don't have much info on ovulex, is it natural?? SO: What is your status?? did you O yet? Are you temping?? LYNN: Wow, I can't believe you already have your induction date picked out. Does it seem real yet?? I love the name you guys picked out?? Have you started on the nursery? What pattern are you using? As for me, 8 weeks 3 days today. I feel like it is dragging terribly. I finally got some nausea feelings but it hits me at night, not in the morning. Been extremely tired but that is about it. Had my first OB appt yesterday and he was excited to see me. Tried to listen to the heartbeat but it is too early. I go back the Monday after Thanksgiving and hopefully we will hear it then. He told me I can tell Campbell at that point. It is driving me crazy not telling her. I just am still terrified that the baby is going to stop growing or something and I won't know it. I am thinking about renting a doppler, but haven't decided. I have to scoot. Prayers and hugs for everyone! Have a safe day! Check in soon!

hi ladies.. nothing much to report .. still struggling with my af to show up.. no signs at all.
anyways, i am not really in the mood of buying a pregnancy test.. i really do not have any kind of expectations this cycle. and i am quite sure that will arrive sooner or later. cmelissa, ... nothing to report about my next cyscle. i still have to make up my mind wether to try ovulex or set with my doctor to proceed with fertility medication.. i dont really know.
Carol.. ovulex if a herbal fertility blend. it is manufactured and sold in USA with high success rates as reported by many women on this site and tons of other sites.i really want to give it a try.
wish you all the best mega& cmelissa for your 2nd cycle. will write soon again.

Hey Carole! Happy Halloween to you. I hear ya, I love this holiday too. I dressed up, I think my dept. is the only one that did. I'm a Mideval/Renaissance maiden. Carole, will you dress up to take Campbell trick or treating tonight? Wow, 8 wks, huh? Renting the doppler might give you peace of mind, but definitely read a lot about it so you know where to put the baton so you hear the baby's hb & not get freaked out more. I think it's a neat idea really that's it's available in the marketplace for rental. Oh thank you! That's right, I'm planning on not POAS this time. I actually have no signs, no twinges that could convince me the baby/babies are implanting but I'm thinking that's a good thing. I got so many twinges/pulls last cycle around implantation time & then BFN. So if I do get cramping or whatnot I'm going to try to chalk it up to progesterone/estrogen. I'm glad that besides the occassional nausea, your feeling pretty good overall. Though I'm sure in some ways the nausea is reassuring. Kot--You're on CD 36 now, aren't you? Surgery can screw with cycles that's for sure. My RE just gave me prometrium to take post lap though so we could get on with things, but lots of women say just that 1 cycle gets long post lap. But I'm still holding up some hope for you, though I can understand you not wanting to get your hopes up. Does AF still feel like she's trying to come? Or have all the cramping stopped by now?

Happy Halloween ladies . Mega i think thats what i heard too about the transfers. Carole - so good to hear from you!! have fun trick or treating with Cambell - i bet she looks adorable!! My consult is thursday so we will discuss what meds and doasges i'm sure so i will let you know when i find out!! Oh so my sister is bring induced today so thats exciting!! She had a little fall on the stairs Sunday so to be safe they are inducing her tonight around 6pm so she may have a little halloween baby. I'm really bummed b/c i was hoping to be there for the birth! Kot thanks for the well wishes with this IVF cycle. How late is your AF? Mega how fun you dressed up for work!! I just have a blinky pin on my shirt, haah! Well i will check in later - have a great day!!

Mega - October 31

Cmel--How exciting about your sis's baby being born. What a fun b-day to have! Probably that's best since her fall Sunday. She was due in 3 weeks anyway, right? Not that early then to induce her. Congrats Auntie Cmelissa! :) Well even though you'll miss the birth, you'll still get to help out lots & lots with the baby I'm sure. How fun that'll be. A blinkie pin, that's in the spirit!

soimpatient - October 31

Hi ladies! I just wanted to pop in and say hi and Happy Halloween. Cool costume Mega! I am a devil this year and DH was supposed to be an angel but he got lazy and just stuck with his "traditional" pirate costume. Melissa, congrats on being an Auntie! That is so exciting! Kotkot, have you tested yet??? I sure hope that things turn out "positively" for you this cycle! Mega, any symptoms yet:) hehehe...just kidding...listen to Carole and don't read into the symptoms. When are you able to test? I'm not really familiar with the IVF process...are you able to test soon? Well, I'm still charting and OPK-ing this month and today I noticed some ewcm...which is really weird since I never O. I'm still getting negative OPKs but I'm hoping that I might O on a break cycle...you never know, right? Have a good day ladies!

cmelissa - October 31

Mega - her due date was the 19th so not too much earlier. Yeah i will be excited to go visit now on the 15th!! So - wishing you O this cycle!! Keep bding as you never know and sometime OPKs arent 100% accurate either!!! Everyone have fun tonight with the trick or treaters!

Mega - October 31

So--A devil huh? That's cool, you can have fun with that. Are you going to a costume party tonight or anything? EWCM, that sounds promising for O. Be watching those temps closely the next few days. And wear your DH out with the BD too, cover those bases. That's right, you never do know. With a FET you don't need the Hcg trigger shot so if I did use a HPT I wouldn't have to worry about false positives, but I'd still have to wait another several days post implantation, probably next Wed. at the outset. But I think I'll just stick with the beta this time. I have that on Nov. 10th, I'm waiting for my nurse to call back to set a time. "What are my symptoms?"--You crack me up! Keep on keeping on with the BD, that would be so cool if you O'ed on a break cycle. Cmel--The 19th, yes, that's not too too early or anything. Is this her first kid?How exciting. Well, Happy Halloween ladies.

soimpatient - October 31

Thanks for the encouragement Mega & Melissa! Mega, I can't believe that you aren't going to test!! I guess you only have 10 more days to wait. DH & I went to a Halloween Party on Saturday...today we're just dressing up for the trick-or-treaters that come to our house. I guess we're a bunch of kids ourselves:)

Mega - October 31

So--I guess that makes me a kid too, I'm doing the same thing, dressing up to pass out candy. :) My motto--Immaturity can last a lifetime, that's my goal! LOL!! I did the HPT thing last IVF, & the single line was soooo depressing. I think I'd almost rather hear first hand by the nurse. I say that now. Next week I could very well be feeling different about the whole to HPT or not to HPT question.

cmelissa - October 31

Mega its her 2nd baby boy. Her other baby just turned 2 on Oct. 10th! So 2 years apart! I hear ya about the hpt's i hate taking them too! It would be different if i had gotten a + on them before! Well you all have fun tonight!!

soimpatient - October 31

I'm going to start a new thread and since I'm not creative, it is going to be starting injections - part 3....maybe by the next time a new one needs to be started I will have something creative in mind:)
