Hello Ladies! I hope everyone find the new threaed okay:) Stepmommel - It is crazy how everything has been exactly the same timing with us. Last time I was on Provera I got my period the day after I stopped taking them. How many days are you on them for? I was prescribed 10 pills. I know sometimes it is 5. The wait is driving me nuts! Happy early b-day! Oh, and I am 26 years old. How is everyone today?

Hey guys! That's much better not having to scroll all the way down to catch up! thanks Tammy! TAMMY, by the way, couldn't you ask to see a consulting doctor while yours is on vacation? Seems totally unfair to make poor TTC women put their lives on hold YET AGAIN just so someone can be on vacation! they've got to have a back up plan for people like us!? So I was a little paranoid this morning because for the 2nd time this month FF told me I O'd. We've been bding and you're not supposed to be getting pregnant while on Provera. However, it turns out that FF also said that the O may actually not be an O, just a side affect from the med! WHEW! That's good! Yeah OTILIA it is crazy how on schedule we've been, even down to when we started TTC! My provera is for 10 days. I've been meaning to ask you, do you have any side affects at all from it? I'm more irritable (noticably to others) and I also have a nasty taste in my mouth... sorta like "cotton mouth". I'm wondering if it's from that? JAQI thanks for the clarification of the trigger shot. I'm a little more clear now. I just hope this Clomid will work for me. Supposedly it actually works for a lot of women, but it seems like all I ever read about on here is people who are taking it for some time now and not having any luck.. I wonder what the stats are for a success rate on the stuff. Hmm... Hi SLOWPOKE and MELISSA ! Hey, I wonder what happened to Newmommy, Lalilove, and Mayika? I wonder if they'll come back around. Hope they find the new thread! Talk to ya'all later!

hey girls thanks for starting a new thread the other one was quite long..lol..just thought i would check in and let ya'll know i found ya all

Otilia98 - July 13

It looks like we are all trickling over to the new thread:) I have been crabbier lately but I was not sure if that was the Provera or the stress of TTC! Here's the stats on Clomid... About 80 percent of women ovulate, usually within the first three months of treatment. Of those who ovulate, 40 percent get pregnant (the wide range is due to all the other factors affecting pregnancy, from your age to the speed and agility of your partner's sperm). Very little information is available on the live birth rate for these fertility drugs, but a few studies put the number at 30 to 60 percent. That would be about 32% of women get pregnant on Clomid. Hopefully we are part of the lucky 32%. I figure that the chance has to be much better than what I am doing now. After all I have a 0 chance of getting pregnant since I do not ovulate. It's really promising to see that there is an 80% chance of ovulation! Sorry for such a long post ladies:)

slowpoke01 - July 13

otilia that is great i have wondered about the stats of clomid

stepmommel - July 13

Thanks for the stats Otilia! That is pretty promising, and you're right, any chance is better than the 0% chance we have when not Oing! So, within the first 3 mos... I'll try to keep that in mind so I don't get too disappointed if this month doesn't work!

HEY TAMMY - thanks for starting the new thread!! I'm cd 10 today so just waiting for the big O, hopefully I don't get it next week when I'm on vacation b/c my dh isn't coming with me. STEP - I have 3 friends who all got pregnant from clomid so it does work :) It sometimes takes a few tries to get pregnant - I'm still waiting - I hope my time is soon!!! Wishing us all bfp!!

Hi ladies! I'm glad everyone is finding us! This is so much better not having to scroll all the way down! NICE!:) I think I will call the doctors office and explain my situation to them and see if someone else can see me....I really want to start something next month, even if it is just monitoring to see what is going on w/ my retarded body! Well hopefully I'll be pregger, then I won't have to worry about it......I was having really weird cramps today at work....Like little twingy pains down there..I don't know, it was weird...I'm still getting them on and off right now., hopefully its a good thing!! Guess what my dumb butt did tonight at work? I knocked our BIG HEAVY metal stapeler off of the counter, and it landed right on my little pinkie toe! I think I broke it...It's kinda numb right now, but it is really swollen, red and starting to turn all different shades of purple! It hurt like hell, and of course there are customers sitting at the bar, so you don't want to swear, so as I'm hobbling around holding my foot saying "Gosh darnit that hurt". One of the customers said, oh honey, we know that must have hurt like hell, it's o.k. if you swear infront of us, just let it out..O.K.! "F*ck!!!!" yeah, not a good situation!! It hurt so bad that I wanted to cry, but couldn't! Anyway. I better get going. I am working on a blanket for my boss who is preggers and need to work on it a little so it is done for her baby shower. check in tomorrow!

Can I just say, I LOVE this thread!? I just feel so good reading through everything.. I feel like I know you all so well and it's so weird when you think we've never actually met! Anyway, it's just nice to have so many people in the same boat to talk to .... people who REALLY understand everything I go through, from the ups to the downs and everything in between! Anyway... Tammy, I'm so sorry about your toe. If it's swollen and changing colors, chances are you did break it! I hear those are the worst cus there's nothing much you can do about it! So sorry! I hope it feels better soon! Melissa, thanks for the encouragement. I can feel that provera is starting to work.. I just hope Clomid works for me too! Otilia, I was taking fertilaid, but am not supposed to with Clomid, so I'm back to my regular prenatals now. How is the provera working for you? Feeling any different? I'm starting to get a few cramps here and there and bb's are starting to get sore. I feel like good things are right around the corner! Well ladies, there's a chance I'll be without a computer at home for a while. This one's starting to have issues again. If that happens, I'll chat from work. Have a great Friday!

slowpoke01 - July 14

stepmommel i feel the same way i tell you girls things that most people wouldnt understand ...lol..hope that your computer doesnt crash take care all

Otilia98 - July 14

I love our thread too! I can't wait til we all get BFP! Tammy - I hope that your toe is doing better! Slowpoke - I know about being worried about the different extras you can take. But I figure that vitamins won't hurt and then after this I called my doc and he said that baby aspirin is prescribed for women doing IVF and who have a lot of miscarriages and that I do not need it. I am going to stop taking it, but I guess I don't see what it could hurt if it prevents miscarriage! But doc knows best. Stepmommel - I am not feeling a whole lot different just tender breasts and kind of moody. Melissa - How many cycles were your friends on Clomid before they got pregnant? That is SO encouraging. Jaqi - I read your last post on the old thread. I am sorry to hear your news and I hope that you feel better soon.

cmelissa - July 14

TAMMY - the cramping could be implantation - what dpo are you?? I'm cd 11 today and no +opk, probably won't be until cd 20-22 like last cycle!! I hope I will be back from vacation to bd when I ovulate. Otilia - i just take prenatal but have been slacking - need to get better about taking them daily! What kind do you guys use? My dr gave me a presciption of Calnate - have you heard of that its a prenatal. STEP - i totally agree with you - i love this thread too and theres only a few of us so we gert to know each other well!! I look forward to checking this post every day! Otilia - my friends both got pregnant the 1st time on clomid so thats exciting - stay positive!

Otilia98 - July 14

Melissa - Thanks for the positive note! That is exciting. I just take the Target prenatal vitamin.

stepmommel - July 15

I just take the WalMart brand... I'm cheap, what can I say?! Though I'm thinking of changing when I run out. Not sure to what though. I think as long as it has Folic Acid it's good...
