4 dpo the wait is killing me! Anyone else??

I took clomid 50mg days 5-9. Now I am about 4 dpo I confirmed it with an OPK. A day before the positive test the doc saw 3 large folliciles on the U/S. Ever since 1 dpo I have had slight cramps on and off. Pain in both of my ovaries, not bad, just twinges of pain on and off. This has been continuing up to today. Nipples are also sore. (TMI) they have been since 1 DPO. I know that symptoms this early are not likly. But boy do I feel Pregnant. I am trying not to get my hopes up, I don't want to be dissapointed. I have had 2 early m/c before. The reason was low progestone, so I am on suppositories now. BTW, those symthoms I listed about were happing before I took the progestrone. So I am anxious to test.... maybe I will try a test tomorrow, or Friday. Anyone else waiting to test??

I had IUI yesterday so I have 2 weeks. I have a question too! I had IUI procedure yesterday and just a few minutes ago I went to the restroom and there was a thick clear jelly like substance with a brownish red mix in it. Could this be implantion bleeding this soon or maybe just some bleeding from the procedure? I am FREAKING out! Please help! Also what does dpo mean? i would like to help but I am new at this and i don't know the lingo!

DPO means Days past Ovulation. I'm not to familiar with the IUI procedure. But I hear implantion bleeding can happen anywhere from 5 DPO (Days past ovulation) -8 DPO.

SaintRose, I am currently 5DPO, which means we are in this 2ww together:) I did clomid 100mg days 3-7 and had a 6 mature follicles and +OPK on Friday. I did the Ovidrel trigger shot on Friday night. I also have been having very slight cramping on and off for the past 3 days. This is the first time that I got a +OPK since November 2005, when I had a miscarriage at 5.5 weeks also due to low progesterone. So we are in the same boat. How long have you been ttc? I have been ttc #2 for 3 years. I am 30 DH is 43 and DS is going to be 5 on 2/6. I think it will be a mistake for you to test so early. Please wait until at least 12DPO. Good luck:)

I'm in the same 2ww! Mommy2josh, I had my pregesterone test today. I"ll get the results tomorrow. How about you? SaintRose, did you have a progesterone test? I'm on Prometrium to help out w/ low progesterone.

SaintRose- probably too early for implantation bleeding. sometimes you just have spotting. as for all the pain, i always had cramping with clomid and injectables. because you are developing more follicles than normal, it does hurt more. i always experienced cramping in the entire 2WW. i also had all pregnancy symptoms too- but the meds tend to do that to you. especially the trigger shot- it will give you exact pregnancy symptoms, which is why you can't test until at least 10 days after the shot or you might get a false positive. so i hope all these symptoms are good signs for you! they could be. but in my case, i had 4 clomid cycles all BFN, then 4 IUIs, all BFNs and i could have swore i was pregnant in a lot of them. it is just really hard to differentiate sometimes because of the meds....what is a symptom and what is a side effect. i just got tired of getting my hopes up every month because my boobs hurt or because i felt nauseous.....so now i don't count on any side effect and no longer analyze them. for me, it just made me crazy! lol.....but since you are just on clomid only, those things could be a good sign- i am assuming you didn't do the trigger shot?

mommy2josh... we are in the same situaton. I have been TTC for about 1/2 years. But this is my 1st time taking Clomid. I am 23 DH is almost 26. I did do a test this morning.. its a BFN, but of course its only 5 dpo. I am just anxious! 6 folliciles! That great, double what I have Good Luck.. keep me updated..
Pmblake... I had my progestone done right be4 I ovulated, so it didn't help much... just told me I was about to, then the next day I got a + OPK. I am currently on Progestrone suppositories 50mg once a night.
Tink... I didn't do the trigger shot, or the IUI. Just clomid 50mg days 5-9
