Hi Kotkot. Thanks! AF showed up today for me. I'm bummed, of course, esp. now b/c I was sooo sure I was PG this time. But no, I'm definitely not giving up. I'm too stubborn for that. :) I'm fighting harder in fact. That's a major step that you grew your own natural egg this cycle, no matter how this cycle ends for you. Good luck in the 2 WW, by the way. Hang in there. I'm glad you like your new dr, hope he's the one to get you pregnant. Well, you know what I mean.

kotkot - December 13

hello mega.. so sorry to hear that , i can understand how starting over looks like .. a painful experinace ofcourse. anyways i wish u will keep up ur high spirit and i am glad u are still standing up. actually when my AF showd up last month i was totally confused , ,, it took me like 3 days to absorb my frustration and start once again . any ways i will go for the prgestrone blood test this saturday and i will keep u posted with the results . tell me what are u going to do next( are u going to start ur fifth clomid cycle or what???) wish u all the luck.

Mega - December 13

Thank you! I have an appt. tomorrow for my baseline u/s. So I guess I'll more then. I was planning on trying Clomid & injectibles together til I spoke to someone I know who used to go to my dr & she said he'd only prescribe 3 rounds of injectibles before IVF, which isn't an option for us right now til we save more $$. If that's the case, I don't want to waste 1 of my injectible rounds so soon. So, yes, I guess I'll be on my 5th round of Clomid. I might see if I can go up to 150 mgs. of it. Good luck on your progesterone test. I'll be eager to hear your results. I had my 1 day of pity parties yesterday, now I feel better. I think it's important to let yourself have 1 or 2 or how ever many days you need to feel sad about AF coming, I find once I let my feelings out I feel sooo much more optimistic the next day. I fixed myself a couple of cocktails yesterday after work, something I won't be able to have when I'm PG & when I'm nursing. :)

Mega - December 13

Hi Krissie. Welcome. I'm glad reading this thread made you feel better. I'm glad you joined us. I'm so sorry about AF showing up. What a blow that was, I'm sure. There are definitely people with success stories their 1st time taking Clomid, but for most of us, it takes a while before we get pregnant. 12 years is a long time to try, but hang in there, hopefully it won't be much longer for you til you're pregnant. Good luck!

kotkot - December 15

hey mega and kriessie.. for u mega. i am really glad to hear from u in such spirit , i am sure you are astrong person .. i just can imagine how ur personality looks like . for me .. nothings new just feel little cramps and lots of gases , my breast have been tough early this month but as i told you the interesting thing is that iam not expecting anything at all this month as iam starting over with a new doctor and new solutions maybe!!! i will be doing the test on saturday .. i wish it will be indicating that i have ovulated this month .. at least i will know that something is working naturally but just in case iam not .. that wont let me down cause i got used to the PCOS matter of fact. for you kriesse .. 12 years is along time , my fingers are crossed for you ,, pardon me for my curiosity but have u tried IVI or IVF .. did any doctors diagnosed you with certain problem??? and why u started clomid so late?? anyway ,, i wish u all the luck . Mega , longing to hear from u soon...

Mega - December 15

Hi Kotkot. Good luck on the progesterone test. I think it'll be fine, esp.
since you started growing that egg on your own this cycle. That's encouraging news. My u/s appt. today went well. I got the bump up to 150 mgs. of Clomid that I wanted & I'll be on the Estrogen patches too for my lining. My dr also agreed to do a lap in late Jan/early Feb if I'm still not pregnant, so I feel good about that too. You're right, it can take some time to get that BFP when you're seeing a new dr but that's a wonderful, proactive step in the right direction. Keep me posted on your progesterone test results. I'll keep my fingers' crossed for ya--toes too! Thank you, I try to stay strong, some days it's easy (like today), other days not so much. But I think we're all strong women here on this board, you too!

LSB - December 15

Hi everyone! I hope you don't mind me joining in. We have been ttc for 11yrs now. So Krissie, I know how you must be feeling. I am on my 3 round of clomid and going for my second IUI on the 23rd & 24th. Hopefully, this will be the month!! Good luck and baby dust to all!!

Mega - December 15

Welcome LSB! Good luck to you, too. Baby dust!

kotkot - December 16

hey mega.. welcome LSB! well .. yeah it might take a few time .. i am praying god on every single moment that this will not last forever !! anyway even those 16 months seem to be the vevr for me . i will be going to the lab tomorrow at luch break so i will get the results as soon as i finish work .. i do not think that the progstron test take more than that to arrive with tests. anyways , i will prepare for an appointment with my doctor when the AF due this month .. so we can consider the tests results to know our next leap. anyways girls i have to tell you that this whole thing really hurts .. as i have told u mega previousely this is the only thing iam loosing control on it and i hope that god will be granted me for being that pateint. well .. for the clomid that's good .. i hope u will be doing fine this month . tell me what do u mena by the lap. this is anew thing to me!!! wish u all luck girls

Mega - December 16

Hi Kotkot. Good luck on the Progesterone test. You're right, they usually get the results back pretty quickly. It's tough not having control of our bodies, I don't deal well with the lack of control I have over getting pregnant either, but I know by going to the dr I'm taking back some control. You're doing the same thing. Remember that. A lap is short for laporosocpy (sp?), which is just
a minor surgery to see inside the pelvic region, check for endo, etc. Not fun, but I think it would be good to do. Have a great weekend!!!

kotkot - December 17

hey mega
i just ahave arrived from the lab. they told me that the results will be ready by tomorrow .. well , let's waite alittle bit then we can know what's happeneing then . wish u best luck

KJ - December 18

I am on my 5th round of Clomid. I tend to be an obsessive tester, so I have set "rules" for myself. I refuse to let myself test until day 30 (normal cycle on Clomid is 32-33). I need your opinion though... Day 30 will be Christmas day. If it is the news I am hoping for, it will be the best Christmas present ever. However, if not, I will be a miserable wreck all day. Would you guys go ahead and test? Would you wait? I need some opinions other than my own! Thanks in advance.

kotkot - December 18

hi mega and kj .. well the test result has arrived with 8.9 .. the indication key says that for luetual phase the normal range is from .95-21 i am not sure if the 8.9 is a strong indication for ovulation or not?? i will be waitting for the AF to show up so i can visit the doctor with the tests results and we will see what to do next... keep me posted mega, and for you kj ,,, after being disappointed several times i would waite for a 3-4 days absence after the due date .. just to be on the safe side of not being down . and never mind any circumectences .. be abrave woman and u will get that BFN one day!! wish u luck.

CHRISTINA - December 19

I JUST TOOK MY THIRD ROUND OF CLOMID

Mega - December 19

Hi ladies! KJ--if you do test on Christmas Day, & I can certainly understand your temptation, just remember if you do get that BFN it may just be too early. A BFP would be a lovely
Christmas present though, wouldn't it?
Kotkot--Your prog level is close to the level that's supposed to indicate ovulation. I've read condictory info on that too, some places say level 5 & above and others say level 10 & above. As hard as it is, I'd wait & see what the dr says. What CD are you on now? Hang in there. Hi Christina. What CD are you on now? I'm guessing you're in the dreaded 2 WW now? I finish my 5th round of Clomid tonight. What mgs are you on? Are you doing IUI with the Clomid? Good luck!
