angelkitty - March 19

Thanks for the new thread Linds!! I am tired. After church yesterday Dh and I sorted through some boxes in our garage took them to goodwill, came home and I laid in the sunroom with the kitties and fell asleep. I got too hot and got up and went to our bed and stayed in bed until it was time for dinner. DH said I ate dinner without really saying anything to him and went right back to bed. I slept until 9:30 last night. I stay hungry all of the time. I never crave anything sweet...just salty stuff like sunchips and tomatoes with a lot of pepper and salt on them. I just cannot stomach the sweet stuff. I have not craved a double decker oatmeal pie in weeks. Still no vomiting except for that one time but I do have the queasy stomach. Do you think this late in the game I will end up with the vomiting? Just curious. I drink a lot of water - more than I could have ever imagined wanting to drink. My big thing was a diet sundrop before I was pregnant but now I just do not want them. Well, I want one and have one from time to time but I think it tastes too sweet now. I seriosuly do not know what is up with that - I just get sick thinking about eating sweet food. Ok I know that was more than you ladies wanted to hear. I am just amazed at the changes. I am going to start walking every day during lunch to keep my weight in check...so far i have gained 4 pounds. Any ideas about good exercizes that are not too strenuous but good for my butt and thighs?

Linds, any sign of af yet? Jb are you having any symptoms yet?

angelkitty - March 19

Pam, what are your symptoms now? TTC#3 you sound like me before I knew I was pregnant!!!!! :o) Hmmmm?????

pmblake - March 19

Good morning everyone! Dana, you're still well above coverline. Don't count yourself out yet! do you typically have such intense pms symptoms? if not, you're a lead contender to be next in the rat race! You should test! soon! Hey Linds, did you get your curtains up? I, like Angelktty, slept most of the weekend. Eating lots of sweets. That's funny that you can't eat them Angel... I'm munching on anything sweet I can get my hand on. I typically am not a sweets eater so this is all new for me. I've been having alot of pulling and pinching around the belly button area. not below the button but above it and around it. This pregnancy is definitely alot higher than mine in the past. usually I feel the pulling around my c-section. Not this time. Sorry about your af Linds. I asked you last week if you could've Oed.... b/c of the spotting. I've been imagining that it could've been implantation.

linds99 - March 19

You think it was implantation bleeding? I don't know. I hope not, I drank a glass of wine and a mudslide yesterday at my friend's house during dinner. I've also not been eating much at all, picking at everything, it has not been a healthy couple of weeks for me. I forgot to take my temps this weekend, so I don't even know what I am doing in that department yet. But I think maybe I will be like you and AF will come 45 days after the m/c bleed...so that would mean this Thursday..after that, I will start to think something is up. TTC3, your temps are still elevated, I'm not gonna think AF is coming yet for you...still hopeful. I seriously think that you can get pregnant on your own, your cycle looks normal and healthy. How long are you willing to keep trying on your own without medical intervention? Like I mentioned before, it may take DH about 3 months to start seeing more quality SA numbers with the vitamin blend, which I hope he is still religiously taking? angelkitty, when I got pregnant, I didn't want sweet anything either. I also remember craving salty...I was eating a lot of olives and smoked salmon. I also made DH make me pasta with homemade tomato sauce, so I can totally relate with the cravings. And drinking way more water is very good for you, you are building more blood and you need the water to provide oxygen to the body and hydration to make the blood. I think you are pretty safe if you haven't thrown up yet, likely not to get ms at this point. Lucky you!

linds99 - March 19

Pam, did you have a c-section with both girls?

lovemy3 - March 19

Hey all. Angelkitty, My vomitting started at around 6-7 weeks and with my first lasted up to the moment they took her out and my other 2 around 30 weeks. I have lots of good tips if it starts on you! TTC, don't be sad till it comes. I know, its sooo hard. Hugs, hang in there. I had 3 sections speaking of c-sections. Linds...have you taken a test...is it possisble? Wow, that would be awesome. As for me, just starting the wait, you guys know the drill.

pmblake - March 19

Hey Linds -- yes, I've been hoping what you experienced was implantation bleeding. As soon as you mentioned the spotting I looked it up and implantation doesn't have to be brownish... it can be pinkish also. what are the chances? And picky eating is also a sign. I've been pushing things around on my plate too. loss of appetite is also a form of "food aversion". So, are you going for another beta test this week?

linds99 - March 19

Hi lovemy3, no I really won't start suspecting anything until at least Friday. You had 3 c-sections? Do you think you developed scar tissue and that may be the issue for you ttc? I've read that some women develop secondary infertility from having so many c-sections due to all the scar tissue that builds up in that area and starts pushing on the reproductive organs. Have you ever had a lap done or ultrasound to see if this is any problem for you?

pmblake - March 19

Oh and I had a vaginal birth w/ Sydney.. I think the drs were afraid of c-sections in 1994. I was induced and then was in hard labor for 3 days.... Tuesday 7:00 am to Friday pm at 7:12. They ended up having to suck her out of me w/ a vacumn contraption. She was 3 weeks late. Marin was 2.5 weeks late and I was also induced. 24 hours later, no baby and I had a c-section b/c I was really sick. Thank god for epidurals and drugs.

linds99 - March 19

Pam, I am going for a beta on Wednesday again. They want it to be at zero by then from the 6 units a week ago. I don't know, maybe I have a polyp or something? That wouldn't be out of the ordinary, especially when women go through the treatments and their hormones go out of whack and cause these polyps etc. to occur. I just hate thinking about it being a possibility at this juncture, as my mind is only on AF coming! Oh, and no, I didn't end up putting up my curtains, I have to go shopping for the rods and didn't have time this weekend...:) How was the game Friday night? Are you guys gonna tell the in-laws about the baby during Easter?

linds99 - March 19

Pam, that is the labor I most fear!! Argg...the ones when the baby doesn't want to come out and you hear women carrying the baby for 10 months! Ouch! Seriously, you are brave to endure 3 days of labor...

TTC#3@35 - March 19

Thanks all of you for your encouraging words.. I try to be upbeat about it but you know how that goes.
Yes pam - always get pms symptoms.. so nothing outta of ordinary this cycle.
linds - we going to keep trying naturally til we get married which probably wont be til next year.. so i have some serious time ahead of me.. yes I have him taking them vitamins everyday! & he actually wants to.. He says he sees a change in things already .. his hair is growing alot faster.. he feels good.

lovemy3 - March 19

Hi there, I did aask my dr about that and he thought it most likeyl wouldn't be an issue. he said "my insides were remarkable for having 3 sections". I have had an u/s since my youngest but it was looking for a fibroid not scar tissue and I have never had a lap. If it is scar tissue, I wouldn't have anything done anyhow. I'm hoping its this month! Its funny, i don't even notice having 3 sections and my healing from them was just fine. No horror stories here about c-sections. Could be I was fighting for my life with other issues, so the c-section was a minor blip in the big grand scheme of things-LOL.

angelkitty - March 19

Hard labor for 3 days? Oh my! That really bothers me just thinking about it. I would like to say I would not use drugs during birth BUT...we will see what it brings. :o)

lovemy3 - March 19

Yep, I'd hold off on that decision till the first contraction-LOL!!
