I have had 2 normal pregnancies, years ago with previous marriage...am currently 35(Oct.26)...have remarried(very happy) and have been ttc for 2 years...in that 2 years I have had 2 miscarriages....1 doc called "normal"?...and 1 ectopic, resulting in the loss of my right tube...I am devastated...every day for the past 2 years I look for symptoms of pregnancy...it is very stressful as you all know...I have tried everything but the IVF(can't afford)...we have done bbt, chlomid, iui.....I ovulate clearly, know my body very well at this point, 2 docs say I am only "most fertile" 6 times a year because of the 1 tube...guess my timing really sucks....doc says I am AMA(advanced maternal age)...whatever...af this am...another month of disappointment and aging...I am supposed to call the doc today to schedule an x-ray of my tube/ovaries which has to be done on days 5-9 of my cycle....to check my one good tube to see if it is open...he says sometimes that is all it takes....I am not ready to hear that something is wrong with the one I have left....I am sooooo stressed, and I am high stress naturally.....fortunately I have the best husband ever....he stays very positive....but it is so hard for me, he has no kids of his own, he is 7 years younger than me, and I just feel like it would be so wrong for him not to be able to have that beautiful experience....he loves my kids as his own....it is just hard.....I have to stop now....sorry for the ramble, but I find comfort in all your postings.....if anyone out there has a similar situation....I would love to hear from you....vent with me......and bless and good wishes to you all.

I have one ovary and one tube. I had my left ovary and tube removed 4 years ago because of scar tissue. I had a laparoscopy done 2 years ago and the doc. was unable to get to my right ovary due to scar tissue. I also had a cyst and fibroids. I was going to have surgery but never got around to it because of work. We were planning on having the surgery this year now that I have went into business on my own. We have been ttc for a few years now trying the ovulation test and other remidies but no luck. I just assumed it was because of having one ovary and figured the tube was blocked ( I also had a cyst rupture on the ovary that I have left) Much to our suprise I found out 3 weeks ago I am pregnant. It's been 14 years since I've been pregnant I have a 13 year old and I am34 years old. One thing I would like to tell you is that I feel like the stress I had with my old job played a big factor in me not getting pregnant. 3 months after I quit I got pregnant. When I was doing the ovulation test it was showing that I was ovulating 7-10 days after my period. A few weeks after I found out I was pregnant I started hurting on my ovary like I did every month around the time of ovulation so we had a ultrasound done to make sure the baby was not in my tube due to my history of scar tissue and was able to see it is in my uterus but also there is still a cyst on my ovary as well as fibroids. This is a miracle from God and I wish you all the luck God bless!!
