Do I Need to start taking clomid?

Hi All,
This is my first time here.
I was having irregular periods for last 5 months. It came at 45 day, 31 day, 60 day cycles. All this started happening when I relocated to Qatar to join my husband. Actually we weren't started thinking about babies because we are married for 1 year only and stayed together only 4 months. When I consulted doctor for irregular periods, she said I 'm having hormonal imbalance and suggested to take a ultrasound on 14 day to check the egg growth. After ultrasound, I'm told that my eggs are very small, follicles are of size 12mm. So suggested to start clomid in the next cycle.
I'm afraid of hearing these.
Am I really need to start clomid or wait for another 3 or 4 months to start medicine.
Please help me.

you issue here is just your irregular periods right? did you told that to your doctor? if you will take clomid you will get pregnant so don't take it..

if your concern is your irregular period, might as well take BC since there's no plan of getting pregnant right?
