KellyN I had ton's of cysts before using Clomid and it didn't cause any additional ones to form but I did develop 7 follicles (unfortunatly) none of them took with the last IUI but we're still hoping this one will be the month. I'm having my HSG today (CD 8) then on Aug 1st I'm having my ultrasound to determine what date we can do the IUI that's being positive that everything goes OK today and that the Femara actually works. How are you feeling on the Clomid? I had horrible vision problems with it and terrible mood swings. I feel completly normal on the Femara thankfully my poor husband took the brunt of my bad moods! Best of luck

Good luck with your HSG Beth! I had mine two days ago (Monday), and it was not too uncomfortable. Mostly just af type cramps after. Taking advil a couple hours before the procedure helped a lot. The Clomid was not good for me either. Bad mood swings and fatigue. Some headache. I didn't like it especially since this was supposed to me my happy and relaxed part of my cycle! ;o) I guess it will be worth it if it works, though. My IUI is this afternoon, then dh and I are taking a few days out of town to relax and get some fresh air. Hopefully that will help the IUI take!! Good luck to you guys!!! I'll check back in on Monday. -kelly

Good luck both of you. You are in my thoughts! I am due to O in the next few days so we are going to relax and enjoy our time. Hopefully this is my month! And both of yours too! It would be great!

Beth, how did everything go? have you had the IUI yet? I just ovulated yesterday so it's back to the long 2WW. I am trying to relax. Talk to you soon!

KellyN - August 1

Hi ladies! I am back from vacation, and boy do I have a tale to tell. I had a gyno visit on my way out of town and they did an ultrasound and there were SEVEN follicles!!! One of my ovaries had 5 HUGE ones and the other had two smaller (but perfectly healthy) ones. Dr decided that Thursday would be my best bet for IUI, so since I would be out of town, he said dh and I should just bd that day. Before I left they gave me a shot that would make me ovulate in 24-36 hours, so I didn't even have to do opks this month. We bd'd late last week, then on Friday morning I woke up with the worst cramps! I was in bed half the day and had to take pain meds. I'm guessing this was ovulation pain, because my temps went up the morning after that. Anyone else ever had ov pain like that??? How are the rest of you??? -kelly

Hi Kellie and KellyN I am having my IUI tomorrow morning I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this one. There's only 1 follicle but it's BIG 24mm. I had 7 last month but the largest was only 18.5mm and the others were slightly smaller. KellyN I had HORRIBLE cramping 36 hours after the HCG trigger last month so I think it's very normal. My temps also shot WAY UP after the trigger. They actually went up 2 whole degrees (F). So now the worst part for all of us the 2 week wait....Glad we're all in it together. Try and relax and enjoy it, easier said than done right? Good Luck

Beth, how was your IUI?? Any pain?? If the bding doesn't work this time, I will likely do IUI next cycle. Dr wanted me to do it this cycle, but since I was out of town... 24 mm sounds huge!!! Hopefully that means its especially healthy, and you can look forward to your BFP. Here's to the 2ww!!! -kelly

kellie - August 3

Hi Beth and KellyN! I am in the 2WW again and hoping this will be my last wait! I believe I o'd 2 days ago but my temps haven't totally shot up yet. I am tired of charting because sometimes I feel if I move around too much tossing and turning while sleeping that I am affecting it, so I never know how accurate it is. I had one drop in temp and then it slightly raised and then it dropped SUPER low so I almost feel like I o'd twice. who knows. I hope to hear that one of you got the BFP this month. Let's all stay relaxed and enjoying each day as it comes, and the 2WW will be over before we know it! I will keep checking in every day and I hope you both do too.

KellyN - August 3

Hi Kellie and Beth! I can check here every day too, and will!!! Hopefully this will be a great month for us! I have been feeling so bloated after ov. I don't know if something exciting is happening, or if its just all the meds I'm taking. The dr put me on this med that will make the lining of my uterus fatten up a bit. Guess he thought it looked pretty thin in the u/s he gave me last week. One thing I'm grateful for is how happy I feel. Usually on the third week of my cycle I get really grouchy. Not this time! Good thing too because I was already grouchy one week this month when I was taking the clomid. Baby dust you guys!!!!*****-kelly

kellie - August 3

Hi guys! Well the temps shot up today which means i did in fact Ovulate and all on my own this time. Now it's the waiting game! But I am happy plan to enjoy the next two weeks at the beach getting some sun. talk to you all soon!

Kellie - August 5

Hi again, my bbs are sore, pretty much the day after ovulation which is wierd. My DH is leaving tonight for 2WW so I am going to hang out at the beach and with my girlfriends. I hope you both are doing well. Keep updating on how the IUI is. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Good luck ladies.

Beth - August 6

Hi Kellie and KellyN I'm feeling fine after the IUI no symptoms to report yet. KellyN I was SO BLOATED as well when I was on clomid. I was fortunate this month that my lining was very thick unlike the previous few months. That's good that your doctor put you on something mine said mine was minimal but he'd take it. This month it was almost 10 mm. That's one definate plus with Femara, it doesn't thin the lining. I'm being MUCH less obsessive this month over the 2ww, my job has been stressful enough! For once the 2ww is going by quickly it's hard to believe that it's been almost a week since insemination. Hopefully the rest will go this quick.
Kellie, that's great that you o'ed on your own! Enjoy the beach!
Baby Dust to you both!

Hi Kellie and Beth! I'm still hear. I've been reading this thread every day, but have been very tired. I decided to force myself into typing an update today. Beth, you will have to keep me informed on how your IUI goes. The dr wanted to do that to me this month, but since I was going to be out of town on the day he needed to do it, we decided to just bd instead. I will be doing IUI next month if af comes this month. Well, I have just started the 2nd week of my 2ww, and everything seems well. The projesterone has built up my lining so well, I kind of feel like af is going to start at any moment now. Also, my bloatedness went away for the most part, but I'm still having some cramping in the ovaries and uterus area. Guess if all went well, it would be about implantation time for me! Sure hope so!!!! Baby dust you guys!!! Kellie, have fun in the sun - what a great way to relax for your 2ww!!!! -kelly

Beth - August 7

KellyN glad to hear the bloating went away it was so uncomfortable. Are you having nightsweats? I'm so hot at night right now I can't even sleep. It's been SO HOT here this summer I've been trying to stay in the AC or at the pool as much as possible. As for doing IUI my doctor said it has a better success rate for people on clomid since clomid can make cervical mucus so thick. My friend however did not want to do IUI and got pregnant on clomid 3 months after starting it. I'm hoping that 3's the magic number for us as well. Only 9 more days of waiting. Baby Dust!

Kellie - August 8

Hi guys! I am so glad that you two constantly check back because I always want to see how you are. My bbs are still sore but that's about all I am feeling. I felt kinda nauseous this morning but I think it's cause of my medicine for the Prolactin. Other than that, no real news to report. DH is gone for 2 ww so I am bummed. But I took the dogs to the beach today and have been trying to relax and every once in a while take some deep breaths to calm myself. I am going to look into Yoga this week and try and exercise more often. I guess we all have about a week left! I have 7 days or so. Keep checking back and we all should find out soon together. Good luck ladies!
