Factor V

After 2 miscarraiges I was diagnosed with Factor V Leiden. My doctor said even not being pregnant I need to take certain precautions with flying. So does that me when I'm pregnant I shouldn't fly at all? Kind of a dumb question, but I was just curious.

Factor V Leiden means you are prone to form small blood clots which is why you probably had miscarriages. When you fly in a plane you are sitting for a long period of time and it makes it easier for you to form clots. Are you on baby asprin? I wouldn't fly for a long flight if I didn't have to.
