Hi, I am new here. We have an 8 year old daughter, and a son who will be 6 in August. We have been trying to conceive number three since our son was 18 months old. We had two miscarriages, and actually separated for seven months, but have been trying to conceive again since getting back together recently. I am going to be 40 soon. Sometimes I think we should be grateful for the WONDERFUL kids that we have, and give up. But it is always eating at me. Is there anyone else in the same boat? Did anyone do fertility treatments after having two children?

Hello, I have not had the pleasure of having 2 children, but I did suffer a stillbirth last ur with my first pregnancy after getting married. It was God awful & still & probably always be very painful! I'm 36 & my hubby & I started to try again 6 mths later last September & still no luck? I got pregnant only after a mth of trying the first time? Anyways I am now on Clomid, it helps to increase the ovulation process. My doc told me each mth we only have a 15-20% chance of conceiving becuz I'm over 35 yours is probably lower now. If you can't find peace then do the treatments! In the meantime enjoy your two blessings & don't let this tear up your marriage. It's common for couples to breakup after losses. I think it's due to the men being unable to connect w/ our emotions with this. Share w/ a great friend instead & try to keep stress down. Hopefully this won't be my fate. I can't believe I went 7 mths & lost my little girl & now ttc w/ #2 is taking this long..it's frustrating. Stay w/ the site so we can update e/o.

Are you looking for a friendly environment where you can talk to other women with concerns and issues just like yourself? Then you have come to the right place! . . . . . .

are you sure you wanted another child?at your age now, it may be hard to conceive because as we aged, the odds of getting pregnant are a lot lower than just a few years ago.hope this makes sense.

at the age 40 and above, you're far less likely to get pregnant naturally.however, given the range of fertility treatment available, there will be no impossible..
